y/n's workplace.

today was y/n's deadline for next month's vogue issue. this past week, zoro and y/n have been going over his own interviews, his friends and his manager's interviews, and all the other research she had gathered about him to show to the world who he was in the environment he loved the most; his dojo.

her job— writing the article— was done. all that was left to do was for her team to take photographs of him whilst doing his job to let the editing department do their thing.

she truly hoped the magazine could help his career as a martial arts instructor surge in popularity. zoro wishes for nothing more than being able to turn this into a full time job, and his modeling career into a side hustle.

as for her, she had done a few interviews with some publishing agencies. most of them were interested in meeting again, but before she took a final decision, she had two last interviews tomorrow and they were the most important ones to her.

it's been about two weeks since everything went down. after zoro admitted to y/n that he was in love with her, they've been going on dates almost everyday, including tonight.

her feelings were starting to grow immensely for him. she thought about saying it back to him tonight, as she was sure tonight was the night he was finally going to officially ask her to be his girlfriend.

she walked outside of her work building's elevator, her red bottom heels clacking against the polished floor of the editing department, where her boss' office was.

"hello." she chirped, knocking twice on the office door before letting herself in. "the job is finally done." she wiggled the stack of paper in the air.

"great! i'll transfer it to the photographing team." he put his documents aside, giving y/n space to put down her work in front of him. "good work." he nodded his head as he skimmed through the texts.

"put my blood, sweat and tears into it... it was a nightmare." she exhaled, recalling how much she hated working with zoro in the beginning, but for some reason, it brought a smile to her face.

"but all's well that ends well." her boss finished. "how did the interviews go? still no news?"

"i've had a call back from most of them, but i'm waiting until tomorrow after going through all of them to make my final decision."
