Looking at her own reflection on the cerulean surface of the lake, Kavya could not help but wonder if she was worth respecting anymore. She knew she wasn't touched but she was about to be and so many people could look down on her for that. If by any chance the incident leaked then would her image and respect in the society not be tarnished? Will she not be looked down upon? Is she like the other girls anymore? Is she?

The continous thoughts had crippled Kavya and even she did not know how to come out of it. Unknowingly tears had started coming out of her eyes and made her entire face wet, as much as she wanted to stop it she could not. The thoughts kept coming back and scared her till no extent. Will I be accepted by the society? Am I different from every other girl now? Am I even safe in this palace anymore?

The constant thoughts of acceptance and safety had plagued Kavya's mind. She was so lost in her thoughts that she did not realise that Dusshasan had came. He was silently watching Kavya from far and wanted to approach her for quite a while. But seeing her so engrossed in her thoughts he did not want to disturb. But something told his that she was worried. In her entire stay in Hastinapur, she was never this calm. Even while dining her eyes roamed everywhere and her mouth spitted out words nonstop.

At first it was irritating to see someone disrupt the peaceful silence but Dusshasan had slowly gotten used to it, maybe he even started liking it. He had not realised but a small smile had made its way onto his lips while he was thinking about the 'disruptions' he and the others were facing after Kavya's arrival. Everyone had gotten used to the bubbliness and the clumsy attitude of Kavya unknowingly and without it, something was missing.

Dusshasan took small steps towards Kavya, doing his best to not let her know about his appearance just yet. His eyes were on Kavya as he moved slowly and failed to notice the small rock lying right in front of him. Before Dusshasan could even realise it, he had tripped and fell on the ground, his squinted and squirming face beside Kavya.

Not noticing Dusshasan before, the fall made her gasp and almost jump from her place but she settled down after watching the cause of the noise. A light laugh escaped her mouth as she witnessed the prince fall right on his face. "You finally laughed." A smile creeped up on Dusshasan's face as he saw the girl finally laugh a little.

"What do you mean?" Did he see me all lifeless and zombie like? Well shit? Most definitely not bothering him about Aswatthama again. "I was passing by and saw you sitting on the bank like a ghost" Dusshasan got up and rubbed his hand to dust off the mud and continued - "which is very unlikely of you if you don't know."

Dusshasan kept looking at her, expecting an answer for her not-so-Kavya-like behaviour but got no response in return. "You do realise that I am expecting an answer?" He raised his left eyebrow and questioned, while Kavya thought of a lie to tell him.

"I was just worried about my trip to Indraprasth."

"Why?"

"I would have to go all alone and I sincerely do not want that. Do you realise how bored and lonely I will feel?" she retored and sat down again, dipping her feet in the water. "Sit down dumbo."

"What on earth does dumbo mean?" He asked confused, never having heard such a word ever in his life before. "It means that I just called you dumb." Kavya said with a smile as she splashed some water on Dusshasan who was offering her a fake scoff, wanting to show how angry he was. "Stop, you are fooling no one with that. I know you are not angry."

"Then take this." Dusshasan said, splashing a large amount of water on Kavya. "YOU DID NOT!" Kavya exclaimed as she got up and touched her wet hair and returning Dusshasan his fake scoff. "Uh yes I did!" He laughed and spashed some more water on Kavya and called upon his own doom. "I am not" - she pushed Dusshasan in the lake -"sparing you, dumbo."
