Kavya's eyes fluttered open as she looked around in confusion. Wasn't she in a hospital? Covered with pipes and that dirty white ceiling? Where was all that? It was all extremely confusing and frightening. She was suddenly in a field full of greenery and flowers of all kind. The air seemed lighter and the sky more blue.

This was not the usual surroundings of Kolkata. Where are the buildings and the loud honking of cars and trucks? Where is the crowd of people and heavy traffic? Why are their so many trees? And why was she in her normal clothes and not the rags of the hospital?

Everything was too confusing and wild. She felt like she was dreaming when she saw that same man, decked in gold and wearing mischief filled look. A very pure smile lining his face. He was wearing traditional clothes with a gold crown studded with the blue green feather. As handsome as he was, his continuous smiling irritated her when she was visibly confused and frantic.

"Who are you?" She asked, her eyes filled with desperation to know where she was and how she was here.

"You don't recognise me Kavya?" He said, acting as if he was extremely offended. As he dramatically put a hand on his chest. "Of course I don't, I have never seen you in my entire life. Wait- did you kidnap me!?" She said as her hazel eyes widened. Confusion being a constant emotion.

He gave a hearty chuckle and said "No Kavya, I just granted your last wish. You wanted to live and I can never let down my devotees. I love all-"

"Cut the crap!" She shouted, not believing anything he said. "You weirdo, it's 2023 and you are wearing all this, are you in some kind of show?" She asked not knowing what to do. Goodness where was she? What was happening? She sat on the soft green grass as she felt lost and frightened.

"I am Krishna, your Krishna." The man said, as he placed a hand on Kavya's shoulder and tried to comfort her. For some unknown reason his mere touch brought comfort to her. Her mind which was like a stormy weather, thrashing everything, calmed down. "It's Dwapar Yug, I brought you here because you seeked a life. You were on your death bed, how could I refuse you?"

She slowly looked up at him and took everything in. But this was not possible. She couldn't be in Dwapar Yug. But she wanted to believe this man so bad. Out of desperate she asked, "how do I believe you? You can be playing me."

"Look at my eyes Kavya, you will believe me then." He said almost in a hushed manner. As she met his brown eyes she saw the whole solar system. The blue earth, the red Mars, the ringed Saturn and the beautiful Jupiter. Oh how mesmerizing it was. She was lost in his eyes, in the beauty that it held, in the purity that it held. How.. beautiful.

She was at loss of words. She didn't know how she was infront of him. The God whom she worshipped since she was a child with pink hands and soft cheeks. Oh her dream was coming true. She met him. Her idol, her love. Her chain of thoughts were broken when the God infront of her blinked. The mysterious universe disappearing.

"Now do you believe me?" He asked with a small smile on his face. Unable to reply and so fazed by his eyes, she simply nodded. She immediately touched his feet and said, "thank you Govind. Thank you for giving me a life again, I will be indebted to you, forever."

Krishna touched her arms and brought her to her feet again. "You are my Sakhi, and friends don't thank each other for helping them out, it's my duty."

She gave a small smile and asked where she was. To that a reply came that she was in Panchaal. The kingdom of Drupad, and at that moment the fire born girl, Draupadi was being created.
