Peeking through the red curtains of her palanquin Kavya saw the mighty palace of Indraprastha. She had never fathomed how marvelous a structure can actually be. Her eyes were stuck at the palace as she got closer and closer to the it. Wow. It was increasingly getting hard for her to imagine how beautiful it was and she knew that the serials in her time had done no justice to the beauty of the palace.

The palace's towering spires reached towards the heavens, adorned with delicate carvings that seemed to dance in the sunlight. Each window was a glimpse into a world of opulence and splendor, inviting her to explore its hidden treasures. The walls, adorned with vibrant murals depicting ancient tales of valor and love, whispered stories of a glorious past. Lost in the enchanting sight before her, Kavya couldn't help but smile, her heart filled with wonder and excitement.

Kavya was feeling a strong desire to step into the mighty palace. Maybe it was the fact that she knew what history it had attached itself with or it was just the aura of the palace which screamed that it was going to be the beginning of an era - or the end of one. A smile of marvel had spread on her lips as the palanquin moved closer and closer to the palace.

Soon she was standing before the gate of Indraprastha from where she could see the Pandavas and their wife standing there to greet her. Almost all of them were smiling with a sense of
hospitality in them except him. Annoyance travelled through her veins when she saw the stoic expression on Arjun's face and she wanted to do nothing with that rude man who helped her once in her life. But for the sake for her best friend she kept her eyes from rolling and moved forward with nothing but a smile.

Standing in front of Draupadi, Kavya was met with a huge aarti thaali, which was moved in circular motions around her three times. "Welcome to Indraprasth Kavya." Draupadi welcomed Kavya by embracing her into a tight hug. "I missed you so much." Draupadi expressed while hugging Kavya who also said how much she missed her. "I have so much to tell you." Draupadi said as she dragged her best friend with her inside the palace, leaving the Pandavas with a smile on seeing their wife so happy.

Both the girls almost ran into the castle, excited to tell each other every detail of their lives which they could not for so long. "You know so much has happened in the making of this palace?" Draupadi said as a sigh left her lips even thinking about all the struggle they went through to make the palace on which they were standing that day. "Tell me every single detail Yagyaseni."

Kavya and Draupadi were engaged in a deep conversation about the making of the palace as they moved forward towards Kavya's room. "I hate that Takshak snake so much. If I could, I would honestly burn that thing alive." Draupadi's voice was laced with anger as a scoff left her mouth. "But there is a silver lining to everything, Arya Arjun got the Gandiv bow." She continued but suddenly halted, looking straight at Kavya.

"Want to see the bow?" Draupadi said with enthusiasm which Kavya had never seen in her except the topics which involved Arjun. She adored how much her sister loved Arjun, making her smile as she nodded and let Draupadi lead them into her room where the mighty Gandiv was kept.

Kavya's eyes widened as she saw the Gandiv. Laced in shining silver with intricate designs on it, making it sparkle. The shine glistening in her hazel eyes. "It is so beautiful." Her eyes were not leaving the divine bow and her fingers were finally gracing it.  "I know right?" Draupadi replied, with a proud smile on her face because of the achievements of her husband.

What she didn't notice was Arjun — who was standing right at the doorstep, looking at his wife and her. He saw how his wife was smiling and that filled his heart with utter joy but then he saw how Kavya was smiling too and something unknown, something unreasonable had erupted. He couldn't quite figure out why he smiled at Kavya's smile, but he was. A part of him wanted him to stop smiling because of her but the want that craved to smile overtook it easily. He could not remember anymore why he was standing where he was as he breathed in, disappointed in himself for being that forgetful as he finally stepped away.
