"Granola bars, flashlight, hand sanitizer, vodka. Very important," Natalie said, packing her bag for tonight as Heather and I laid on her bed.
"What, you worried about the challenge?" Natalie asked Heather, who was staring blankly at the ceiling.
"Hey," Natalie set the bag next to Heather, trying to get her attention.
"You upset with the who... Bishop thing?" I asked.
"Well, we know Leela's not gonna last." Natalie added.
"If I tell you guys something, do you promise not to judge?" Heather asked us, Sitting up on the bed.
"I did something very stupid," She shook her head.
"And I'm afraid I'm gonna keep doing it."
"You can tell us anything Heather." I told her.
"Nat? Lilia? You guys ready?" I heard Bishop yell from downstairs.
"What the fuck?" Heather whispered, looking between the two of us.
"I didn't know anything about this?" I raised my hands in defense.
"You guys can't keep avoiding each other. Shh, stop." Natalie tried to calm Heather down.
Bishop knocked on the doorframe before entering the room.
"Hey," Natalie greeted Bishop, I watched his smile fall when he met Heathers eyes.
"You know what I love?" Natalie asked.
"The fact that we can all be in the same room without feeling the need to talk. At all... For a week."
"So," Natalie said- grabbing her bag off of her bed and exiting her room.
"This should be fun,"
"Congratulations to all of you for completing the challenge at Spurlock's Ranch." Diggins congratulated us.
"Up until now you've been competitors, but tonight- you become enemies."
"It is Panic tradition to screw each other over at the Graybill House challenge." Summer reminded us.
"And we all came for that reason," Ray joked.
"Rules are simple, you guys stay inside until we come to get you." Diggins explained, putting his top hat on.
"Player's points will be deducted when you submit proof of them being scared shitless."
"For tonight, and tonight only- keep those cameras on."
"Sabotage is highly encouraged." Summer chimed in.
"As a reminder, Heather is still in the lead with 200 points."
"But Dodge and Lilia are closing the gap with 175 each."
Dodge slid his arm around my shoulder, pulling me into his chest.
"Everyone else is holding up at 150," Summer continued.
"And last but not least there's a 50-point bonus for whoever can solve the riddles in the blood."
"Uh, what do you- what do you mean, 'In the blood'?" Drew asked.
"Blood always tells," Summer nods.
