"What'd you call me over here for?" I asked Bishop as I made my way up his porch.

"These two," He pointed to Heather and Natalie.

"They look alive and well to me," I shrugged, causing Natalie to let out a small laugh.

"No-No, nothing's wrong with them. their fighting," He explained.

     "Why?" I asked.

"Because all year Heather wouldn't shut up about how stupid Panic is and how she's never gonna play, and now she's not only playing- she's winning!" Natalie yelled.

"My mom stole all of my money!" Heather yelled back at her.

"Your mom did what? How much have I missed?"

"A lot, you're too busy hanging out with your boy toy now" Natalie winked at me.

"Not my boy toy!" I yelled.

"Really, then why'd you run into his arms after you jumped?"

"All like 'Oh, Dodge I'm so in love with you! We both jumped off the High Point so we're soulmates! Wanna makeout?'" Natalie mocked.

"Okay, first of all, I do not sound like that. Second- just, no?" I shook my head.

"Whatever you say Lil," She shrugged.

"Lilia and I will be inside, don't kill each other." Bishop pointed at them before dragging me inside behind him.

"So, what's actually going on with you and Dodge?" He sat down at the dining table.

"Nothing, I mean, yeah I like him- Yeah he's hot." I admit.

     "Are you gonna tell him?"

"Probably not, that would make things awkward,"

"It'd only be awkward if he didn't like you back,"

     "Which he doesn't."

"You didn't see the way he was looking at you on that cliff,"

     "What do you mean?"

"We're all better now!" Natalie announced, walking into the kitchen holding Heather's hand.

"Since that's all settled, Heather, your mom did what?" I asked.

The four of us sat at the counter of Dot's Diner, eating a bag of fries.

I watched Dodge as he wiped down the counter across from us.

"Hey, keep your eyes where they belong." Bishop teased me.

"Oh, shut up," I hit his arm.

"I mean what type of person doesn't have a social media account?" Natalie judged Dodge.

     "A sane one." Heather answered.

     "Careful," Bishop added.

"Hey, do you think now that the judges know who we are, that their watching us?" Heather asked, dipping a fry into her ketchup.

"Of course, they're watching," Natalie shrugged.

"How else are they gonna get intel on all the players? They're probably tracking where we work, and live, and hangout. Watching what we do when we think there's no one watching, keeping tabs on who we're with. They're studying all the players."

"You know a lot about this, are you one of the judges?" I jokingly asked Natalie.

"Please, if I was, I'd take the grand prize and book it out of here," She laughed.

We heard the door open behind up, I turned around to see Ray Hall.

     "What, no invitation?" He asked.

     "Nope," Heather answered.

Ray squeezed himself between Bishop and Heather.

"Uh, we were actually just leaving." Bishop said.

"Just saying hello to the new kid," Ray started to walk away from our group.

"Ray don't be a dick," I tried to warn him, but he didn't listen.

"Come on Lil, I'm sure your boyfriend can handle himself." Natalie grabbed my hand and pulled us out of the diner.

"So Diggins really hasn't said when the next challenge is gonna be yet?" Heather asked.

"Don't look at me I'm not trying to be an accomplice." Bishop warned.

"Uh, guys, What's That?" Natalie said, looking at the sign on the movie theater.

"What?" I asked, walking over towards her.

     "Typical,"

"Only a couple days after graduation and already half the letters have dipped out."

"Hey, it's a clue." Heather says, noticing the spray-painted symbol on the ground.

"Look the missing letters spell something, G-R-A-N-A-R-Y, granary."

"So, we know where the next challenge will be the question is..." I started.

     "When," Heather finished.

"So, it looks like we're looking for a start time," Heather nodded.

"Maybe we'll find it at the Granary?"

"That's all you guys, I gotta get home." I shook my head.

"Yeah same, I'm out. Text us if you figure out the start time though," Natalie agreed.

"Mom, I'm home!" I walked through the front door.

     "Hi honey!" She greeted me.

     "Hi,"

"So, how was the movie last night?"

     "It was good!" I lied.

"So, this Dodge kid?" She questioned.

"Mom! Nothings going on between us," I groaned.

"But you Promise to tell me if something happens between you two?"

"Fine, if you leave me alone, sure!"

My phone buzzed in my pocket.

     Heather

Next challenge is at the granary tonight at 10.

I copy the message and send it to Dodge.

    Dodge

     Thanks for the heads up.

Me
