Cordelia laid back on her seat looking through the window. She wasn't a fan of airplanes but she had to admit the view was quite nice.

She grabbed the peacock bead around her neck and closed her eyes. She already knew what she would find but it felt good to feel herself get closer to her sister. It had been too long.

The Godly Beads as she had coined them were Cordelia's greatest creations. The small beads held unimaginable power and could do all sorts of incredible things.

They weren't supposed to be possible but impossible was kind of her thing. By mixing core and wiccan magic she had created all kinds of new spells. At only 17 she had three grimoires full.

Some were relatively peaceful, made for fun but most were weapons. Which was fitting as after all they were in a war. Or they had been.

It was over now. But it wasn't without casualties.

She clutched the bead tighter. The Hera bead could allow her to sense where the others who had the same bead were.

Of course there were only two. Her sister Caroline who she was going to see now after a year of war, fear, and fighting, and her best friend Addy who had been with her the whole time.

It had been hard to part from Addy, they had spent nearly all their time together since the war ended but she had wanted to see Caroline desperately and Addy had needed to stay with her dad. He needed someone there after his wife had been killed.

She forced herself to push that thought away and instead focused on Caroline. Though they were technically cousins by blood they were sisters in everything that counted. They had grown up together and besides for Liz she was the only one in Mystic Falls who knew about her magic.

Of course, that wouldn't be the case if it hadn't been for Emma. Cordelia was an explosion of magic and when she was younger she had never been able to control it.

As such MACUSA had decided they needed to send someone to help. Emma had worked with her mother before she died and had taught Cordelia how to control and use her magic.

She had even gotten her a wand at 8, instead of making her wait until 11 like the rest of the kids. Even such there had lots of accidents when she was younger and sometimes people saw and Emma had to erase their memory.

The most notable being Caroline's annoying friends, Bonnie and Elena. Cordelia never got along with the two and they were often the cause of her "accidents". Suffice to say she was not looking forward to seeing them.

But it was worth it for Caroline. It would always be worth it.

Cordelia knocked on the door, peering through the window. She had excepted Caroline to be standing there eager to greet her but she wasn't in sight.

Though she has a key, she didn't want to bother getting it so she whispered a quick alohomora and stepped inside.

She pulled her suitcase into the house searching for her sister. Instead she found Liz. She was obviously distracted and getting ready to leave but she turned when Cordelia entered.

She grinned pulling Cordelia into a hug. "Little Lia. It's been too long. How are you?"

Cordelia shrugged. "Better that I'm here."

She hadn't told Liz about the war. She had always been wary of the supernatural excluding her and her mother and she supposed her father had helped with that.

Either way she hadn't wanted her to be paranoid because of a war that had taken place because some people believed wizards were meant to rule. Plus she hadn't wanted to worry her.

She has debated not telling Caroline, but she told Caroline everything and she couldn't handle keeping a secret from her sister.

Liz smiled. "That's great. I have to go to work now but I'll see you later."

Caroline had said that she was obsessed with work but this was really something.

"Bye Little Lia," she said as she exited the house.

Cordelia rolled her eyes at the nickname but couldn't help but smile. Liz had called her mother Amelia, Lia and since she had always been told she was like a miniature version of her mother the nickname was created.

She looked around but she still didn't see her sister so she threw her suitcase into her bedroom and went to Caroline's.

It was locked and she knocked on the door but after getting no response another alohomora remedied that.

She pulled the door open and saw Caroline sitting on her bed. Her head swiveled up when Cordelia entered but quickly lowered again.

"Oh, sorry. I forgot you were coming back today."

Cordelia furled her eyebrows. Caroline would never forget she was coming back. She would practically make a celebration of it with cake and all.

She walked forward trying to see Caroline but she kept trying to hide. After nearly a minute of the inane struggle she gave up and grabbed her arm.

And felt something she shouldn't have. Magic.

Caroline wasn't magic. She had touched her a million times and never felt it. And if something had caused her to get magic she would told Cordelia so wherever magic this was, it was not supposed to be here.

And so she tugged. The familiar red color lit up her hand as the magic flowed into her. When it was gone she heard Caroline give a sob before looking up, tears in her eyes and pulling Cordelia into a hug.
