"The food was perfect, the wine pairings were perfect, her perfume was perfect, her face is perfect, her hair is perfect, she's perfect!"
Yizhuo stopped by Minjeong's practice for lunch and was gathered in the small pantry, finally getting a chance to tell everyone about her date with Giselle. Listening to her stories was Minjeong, Yunjin, and Yerim. The usual crowd.
"And oh my God! She dropped me home," Yizhuo practically swooned. "Like, she parked her car and dropped me all the way to my door."
"Can you believe she waited four days to tell me all this?" Minjeong laughed lightly.
"It was so hard." Yizhuo muttered. "But I had to tell all of you."
"Not sure how I became a part of this, but I'm really happy for you," Yerim smiled. "I still have no idea who you're talking about, though."
"Pretty barista with black hair and bangs." Yunjin said, as if that helped.
"Picture?" Yerim asked, wanting to at least put a face to the name.
"Oh! Yes," Yizhuo giggled. "We took so many pictures together."
"And this was only the first date?" Yunjin raised an eyebrow. "I started something that'll end well for once."
"Maybe you do make sense sometimes." Minjeong hummed, patting Yunjin's back.
"This would've taken a lot longer if it weren't for you," Yizhuo nodded. "So thank you. I am forever in your debt."
Minjeong groaned, "Why would you say that?"
"No take backsies." Yunjin quickly said, Yizhuo huffing as she showed her friends all the pictures she took on Saturday night.
"Girl..." Yunjin held back a laugh, almost choking on her noodles. "Why does she kinda look like Yerim's long lost sister?"
Minjeong and Yerim burst into laughter at that while Yizhuo's face dropped. There were similarities, especially since Yerim had her bangs cut recently.
"Don't say stuff like that," Yizhuo muttered. "I have very confidently and proudly called Yerim my sister, my cousin, and my daughter. Don't make me think of her when I see Giselle."
"You call everyone your sister, to be fair," Yerim shrugged. "This is your own doing if you think about it."
"God, I need to stop calling you that," Yizhuo shuddered. "From now on you're my friend again."
"Wait, dude," Yunjin gasped. "She's rich as hell."
"I mean, she took her to Limbo for a first date," Minjeong said. "Yizhuo kinda won."
"She drives a Porsche too, so... I really did win," Yizhuo nodded. "I don't get it. I don't understand how she's that perfect."
"You guys aren't together yet, are you?" Yerim asked.
"No, it's a little too soon I think," Yizhuo pouted. "Like yeah, we got to know each other pretty well, but I think I need to get to know her a little more before a relationship can commence."
"Karina told me she was over the moon about the date," Minjeong said. "And that you're her favourite customer because she's got a crush on you."
"Who is Karina?" Yunjin looked over at Minjeong in question, Yerim doing the same.
"That's her pretty barista with black hair and bangs," Yizhuo answered for Minjeong, which earned her a slap on her shoulder. "Ouch?!"
"She's merely an acquaintance," Minjeong corrected. "But she's also Giselle's friend and has the tendency to overshare. I know pretty much everything."
