"And there was this one time she drove a full hour from her place to my place just because she couldn't peel an orange."
Minjeong was having the time of her life with Karina's friends. Every single anecdote the three women told made her fall in love with Karina just a tad bit more. Her girlfriend was nothing short of endearing and it was everything to Minjeong.
The five of them were sitting outside a café, Minjeong drinking subpar hot chocolate while practically laughing her ass off, and Karina pouting more than ever.
"I had just gotten my nails done," Karina scoffed, lightly shoving Ryujin. "I needed help and you were the only one who could help me."
"You could've cut into the orange..." Ryujin muttered. "We've been through this so many times."
"I was tired!"
"Not tired enough to drive for an hour?" Minjeong raised an eyebrow.
"Whoa," Karina gasped lightly. "You're supposed to be on my side."
"And I always am, but this is just..." Minjeong laughed. "This is ridiculous!"
"She went home right after that too." Yeji added.
"You're joking," Minjeong looked at Karina in shock. "Did you just want company or was it some sort of crisis you were going through?"
"I just wanted an orange!" Karina whined, hiding her face in the crook of Minjeong's neck, who instinctively wrapped an arm around the older one's waist.
"Again... could've used a knife," Ryujin gave Karina a look before glancing at Minjeong. "That wasn't even the weirdest thing she's done."
"She meowed at me when we first met," Yujin told. "She meows often."
"She seems to believe she's a cat." Yeji hummed.
"Oh, I have a friend who you'd definitely get along with," Minjeong told, Karina just looking at her while sulking. "Why so pouty?"
"I didn't expect to come here and get made fun of!" Karina huffed, looking at her friends. "You guys are making me sound like a loser."
Ryujin gasped dramatically, "Have you been hiding your true self from the love of your life?"
"Don't worry," Minjeong assured. "She has been very open about her loser behaviour from the start."
"Did you just call me a loser?" Karina looked at Minjeong with wide eyes.
"I did," Minjeong nodded. "Endearing loser."
"Wow, so this is how I find out all of you hate me." Karina grumbled, still cuddled into Minjeong. "I hate you guys too..."
"If you hate her so much why are you literally glued to her?" Yujin raised an eyebrow, looking in between the pair across her.
"Because I love her," Karina mumbled. "I hate you guys only."
"Grown ass woman..." Yeji shook her head in amusement. "So, Minjeong, tell us more about yourself. We've been giving Jimin too much attention."
"Oh my God." Karina scoffed, taking a sip of Minjeong's hot chocolate to keep her mouth shut.
Minjeong let out a light laugh, patting Karina's head before she focused on the other women, "Well, apart from my job, my friends, and Karina, I don't really have much else going on."
"But she's started to because of me." Karina added with a smile.
"Oh! Oh my God, did she sit and make you read that stupid book about all the dinosaurs that used to roam the Earth?" Yujin chuckled.
