Minjeong sat in her break room, taking sips of her hot chocolate as she read the news on her phone, patiently waiting for Yunjin and Yerim to join her when they were free. Yizhuo was meant to join them as well, but judging by the several panicked messages Minjeong received within the span of a minute, the woman was running late.
Minjeong told her to take her time and not get worried about such a small thing, which was when Yizhuo revealed she had something planned, which was when Minjeong started worrying.
It wasn't that Minjeong didn't have faith that Yizhuo wouldn't be getting herself into trouble, it was just that the past few times Yizhuo revealed a plan in a similar fashion, it got her into some trouble.
But still, Minjeong waited for literally anyone to arrive and entertain her.
Being with Karina made her crave conversations with her friends, which almost knocked the wind out of Yizhuo when she realised. It was so weird to everyone around Minjeong that the woman was suddenly in need of human interaction.
She still enjoyed her quiet and alone time, which Karina understood incredibly well– but the alone part of her quiet and alone time never really happened with Karina around. Minjeong spent every minute she could next to Karina. Even sitting in silence with the woman made Minjeong's heart skip a beat.
Things could not have been going better between the two of them. Minjeong found herself falling deeper in love with Karina as the days went by, which she had no idea was even possible considering she was already pretty damn in love.
It was almost ridiculous to see. Karina had Minjeong doing and saying things she never thought she would ever do.
Apart from the sudden liking towards being social, Yizhuo noticed Minjeong smiled a lot more often– even at strangers– and that she started talking like Karina.
The pair were borrowing habits (and clothes) from each other which both Yizhuo and Giselle found adorable.
Karina had gotten into the habit of always changing into inside clothes when needed and waking up early, while Minjeong had gotten into the habit of– unfortunately– leaving things scattered around the house the way Karina would.
She had recently misplaced a pen she loved dearly, which was something that had never happened to her before.
The biggest change Yizhuo saw in Minjeong was that she was becoming like Karina. She was not as closed off anymore and she was not shying away from conversations with strangers. Minjeong was changing and breaking out of her maladaptive behaviour because of Karina.
After another round of panic messaging from Yizhuo, Minjeong finally decided to reply to every single one of her texts, hopefully giving Yizhuo some peace of mind.
Yizhuo: please.......
Yizhuo: help me....
Yizhuo: minjeong save me.... save me....
Minjeong: why are you acting like you're about to die? ur in a meeting
Yizhuo: I'm in a meeting = I'm in hell = I've already died
Minjeong: dramatic as hell omg
Minjeong: when's the meeting over?
Yizhuo: they promised they'd be done before lunch!!! it is currently... LUNCH
Minjeong: it's not lunchtime yet there's still 10 minutes
Yizhuo: well I usually get my lunch at 1130 so
