Minjeong could not get herself to think about anything but Isa when she wasn't talking. To make matters worse, her day wasn't as full as she'd have liked it to be.

Everyone around her noticed her spacing out, Yunjin questioning it a couple of times, but only getting vague answers in response.

How was Minjeong supposed to tell her friends she just bumped into an ex that she told no one in her life about? Although, in retrospect, that seemed to be the most normal thing that has happened to her in the past couple of months.

It wasn't all just Isa on her mind. To her slight surprise, Karina crossed her thoughts a couple of times, but without any clear reason.

She spent a lot of her quiet time thinking about two things in particular– wondering what could've happened if her and Isa didn't part ways, and if Karina was really flirting with her or if that was just something she decided to imagine.

Either way, Minjeong was getting dizzy thinking this deeply.

What puzzled her was Karina's need to be in her thoughts. Why was she thinking of her while thinking of her ex? What was the correlation? Was it because of how Karina was acting just before Isa walked in? Was that even considered a correlation?

Minjeong wanted to know what Karina was thinking, which she found odd. She wanted to know what Karina made of the interaction. How did she react when they kissed?

But she didn't know why she wanted to know all that, and quite frankly, she didn't want to dig deeper.

"Kim!" Yunjin called out, Minjeong snapping her head up, averting her gaze from staring at the pen on her desk to Yunjin, who was resting against the doorframe.

"What's up?"

"You have been on a different planet this entire day," Yunjin pointed out. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. All good," Minjeong nodded. "Just tired, I guess."

"Do you plan on talking to Jihyo soon?"

Minjeong hummed, not bothered to fight it, "Probably."

"If there's anything you wanna talk about, I'll be here," Yunjin told. "Feel free to vent if you need."

"I'll keep that in mind," Minjeong smiled. "Thank you, Yunjin."

"Anytime," Yunjin smiled in response. "Anyways, I wanted to let you know I'll be leaving in a bit."

"So early?" Minjeong furrowed her eyebrows.

"I'm taking a half-day, kinda." Yunjin shrugged, avoiding Minjeong's eyes.

"Oh, so something's up," Minjeong muttered, trying to get into Yunjin's mind. "Where are you headed?"

"Just have some plans... with some friends..." Yunjin dragged out, a sheepish grin on her face.

"Bullshit," Minjeong laughed. "You have a date."

"What makes you say that?"

"You've got your date heels on." Minjeong pointed at Yunjin's silver heels.

Before Yunjin could protest, a flowery voice sounded, interrupting the conversation.

"Yunjin?" the voice called out. "I was told you were back here?"

"Hi. I'm here." Yunjin turned around, Minjeong getting up to see who this mystery person was.

"Hello," Minjeong poked her head out from behind Yunjin. "I'm Minjeong."
