"No, you're doing it wrong."
"I'm mixing it!"
"But inconsistently."
"I don't know what you're saying to me."
"Baby, look," Karina giggled, going over to Minjeong to help her. "Fold it."
"What does that mean?" Minjeong looked up at Karina, absolutely distressed.
"The chocolate is thick and the milk is under it," Karina explained, holding Minjeong's hand that was gripping a spoon and moving it for her. "You wanna fold it like this... so that everything gets mixed together."
After the pair finished eating and drank their lukewarm hot chocolate, Karina had somehow convinced Minjeong to drive over to the nearest grocery store to buy a very specific type of chocolate so she could make a new batch for Minjeong to properly enjoy.
Minjeong, for some reason, was unable to mix chocolate and milk together, which Karina found to be incredibly adorable.
"Okay, but look at what happens when I do it," Minjeong demonstrated her terrible technique. "It goes everywhere! It's spilling. Now my counter's all chocolaty."
"Because you're stabbing it with the spoon and making it splash everywhere," Karina shook her head in amusement, one hand back over Minjeong's and the other around her waist. "Be gentle."
"This is boring," Minjeong let out an exasperated sigh. "And very difficult for some reason! I didn't think making hot chocolate would be this difficult."
"I do this every day."
"This was not how we made it last time," Minjeong gave Karina a look. "I don't even know how it got this thick."
"I told you not to put so much chocolate." Karina laughed, letting go of Minjeong's hand so she could rest an arm on the countertop.
"It's hot chocolate," Minjeong shrugged. "By law, the more chocolate, the better the hot chocolate."
"Until it becomes a nightmare to mix." Karina added.
"I suggested using my mixer," Minjeong muttered, giving up on the hot chocolate with a huff, turning to face Karina. "How do you do it?"
"How do I make hot chocolate?"
"Yeah."
"For starters, I don't put half the pack of chocolate," Karina scrunched her nose, Minjeong pouting in response to that. "I warned you! I told you this exact thing would happen!"
"I just wanted more chocolate." Minjeong groaned.
"Which I also told you how to do," Karina gave Minjeong a kiss on her cheek. "I'm the expert, remember?"
"Yeah, that's true," Minjeong let out a light sigh. "Well, I suggest we wait for this to harden so we have chocolate to eat."
"Put it in the fridge and I'll make it perfect for you tomorrow morning." Karina suggested.
"Your famous hot chocolate first thing in the morning?" Minjeong raised an eyebrow, turning to face Karina before placing her arms on her shoulders. "That's something I could get used to."
"You always had the option of coming in before work," Karina told. "I would've been there at six if you said you were coming."
"You've got it bad, Yu." Minjeong teased.
"Oh, you have no idea." Karina muttered, leaning in for a kiss.
It felt a little different than the previous kisses they've shared. It was soft, it was slow, it was deep. It was definitely enough to drive Minjeong crazy, almost leaving her begging for more.
