Later that night, Luigi wanders into Spike's room, where the bigger man is on his tablet.
He turns when he sees Luigi standing there, but when Luigi doesn't say anything, Spike gestures, and Luigi obliges, sitting down on the spot next to him.
"What's a 4-letter word for ensconce?" Spike asks nonchalantly.
"Hide." Luigi replies.
Next morning, Spike's phone is buzzing insistently, finally waking him up as he picks it up to answer.
"Pauline? I thought booty-calls were my style, not yours."
" Funny. I'm actually trying to get ahold of your roommate. He's not picking up. "
Spike turns in the bed, spotting Luigi who's passed out on top of the covers. "Got him, hang on."
He reaches over with one hand and pokes him.
"Yoo hoo! Dreamboy, Pauline wants to talk to you."
"Mmmmmmmgh." Comes the reply, but he still reaches out to take the phone, even as he's wiping the sleep out of his eyes.
"Why is Pauline booty calling me?"
"Do you wanna know about your parents' record or not?"
Luigi sits up at that. "Go on."
"The skips have a timestamp. Which when plugged in, become map coordinates."
Luigi hangs up in shock, and promptly gets out of bed to get dressed.
He supposes he really shouldn't be surprised when the coordinates question take him to the one place he hasn't been since the day he came here with Molly.
Giovanni and Mia
"I don't wanna play anymore." Luigi says out loud, eyes wet. "What am I supposed to be waking up from?"
"It's okay to miss them." Molly tells Luigi as they keep staring at the names.
"But they're not even in there." Luigi points out.
"Maybe not, but it's not for them." Molly says, reaching out to touch the picture. "It's for us."
Still raw from the flashback, Luigi reaches out to touch the picture in the present, flinching back in shock when the picture seems to cave in, then suddenly move, and when Luigi carefully moves it, he sees a hole behind it.
Curious, he timidly reaches in, and finds a small envelope, and when he opens it, he finds a small piece of paper.
It's a ticket of some kind, but at a glance, Luigi has no idea what to make of it.
He looks around, maybe hoping someone is watching him, but there's no one.
