"Dreambert?" Snoozemore greets as he finds the prince in his office.
"He's demanding to know what you found out about Destiny." Dreambert tells him.
"Spike fact checked everything." Snoozemore replies as he sits at his desk. "Everything she's said is legitimate. To the letter."
Dreambert notices, "Too much?"
"A year and a half ago, Destiny was awarded the International Healthcare Excellence Award." Snoozemore goes on.
"That...sounds impressive." Dreambert notes slowly.
"It would be." Snoozemore agrees. "If it weren't for this." He turns on his tablet, pulling up the photos Spike copied for him, and bringing up one photo in particular.
"This was taken the day she received the award." Snoozemore explains as Dreambert looks at it.
When he sees the same person hidden in the background, he looks to Snoozemore, "You don't think...?"
"I couldn't make out anything else." Snoozemore admits. "But I know what I saw, and if there's any reason to believe..."
"Give me the other photos." Dreambert holds out his hand, so Snoozemore hands over the thumb drive. "I'm sure the boss will handle it."
"And I'll keep an eye on Destiny." Snoozemore promises, as Dreambert nods and floats out of the office.
Another case solved, another night Luigi's gonna sip his wine and stare at the ticket from his parents' mausoleum.
Or it would've been, had Destiny not found him outside on the balcony and asked, "Whatcha got there?"
Luigi turns around, then shrugs, "A ticket for something."
"For what?" Destiny asks.
"Still figuring that one out." Luigi admits.
Destiny only laughs, "Luigi Turner, you are the most fascinating enigma I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. A handsome one, at that."
Luigi rolls his eyes, but Destiny insists, coming closer, "I'm serious! You're one of the cutest guys I know. Exactly as you are right now. All the cards on the table, no fancy clothes or jewelry, just 100% Luigi Turner."
"Thanks?" Luigi blushes, not used to all this attention.
But Destiny's apparently not done yet, as she continues, "I know it's different for you when I'm gone, but I know it's exactly the same for me when we're together."
"I agree." Luigi can admit that without lying.
And then comes the thing to top it all, as Destiny walks right up to him and pulls him close, wrapping her arms around his neck and kisses him hard, and whispers in his ear,
"I want to marry you, Luigi Turner."
