"What'll it be? " Luigi hears the waiter ask Mario and Clark.

"Ask her. " Luigi sees Mario gesture to Clark. "You want something?"

Clark shakes her head, "No thanks."

"Talk to me." Mario says as he jumps into the dreamscape.

"You and Clark are talking." Luigi tells him, Mario nodding as it unfolds.

"Can you see the assailant?" Mario asks.

"No, he's not looking at whoever it was." Luigi shakes his head.

" I don't get to go to places like this often! " They watch Mario in the waiter's dreams say. " It doesn't have to be anything big . I'll even pay for it myself! "

Then Clark's focus suddenly changes, as she starts looking past Mario and behind the waiter, so the waiter can't help but turn to look as well.

Both Luigi and the real Mario turn to look, and Luigi says urgently, "He saw the attacker. It's someone with a cane."

"GET DOWN!" Clark screams, jumping to her feet as she rushes the attacker.

"What do you see?" Mario demands.

"Stuff smashing and breaking everywhere." Luigi says in a rush. "Clark shoved you against a pillar, and you hit your head. She saved your life."

Mario goes still at that, prompting Snoozemore to ask in his earpiece, " Mario? Do you need to step out? "

"No." Mario shakes his head. "I just...didn't know Clark did that. Been happening a lot lately."

"We'll cry over it later. We need to move further back." Luigi says, leading Mario further into the dreamscape.

" Look for-- " Spike starts.

" Scuse me, that's my job. " They hear Pauline snap. " Mario, follow his feelings. "

Mario and Luigi share a look, but just keep walking, until the dreamscape changes into another memory.

"Now it's a few minutes earlier. Me and Spike are still there." Luigi tells Mario.

"Okay, I need to go to the bathroom." Luigi sees Spike say loudly, standing up.

"Then go." Luigi sees himself say, still glaring at Clark.

"Nu uh. You too." Spike grabs his arm and pulls Luigi to his feet, adding, "Mario, do something to loosen that stick from her ass, please?", and dragging Luigi away.

"Now we're leaving." Luigi narrates, then upon looking around. "The cloaked person with the cane. They just walked in."

"See if we can't get a look at the face." Mario suggests, and Luigi nods, moving closer.

" I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to leave. " The waiter tells the cloaked figure. " If you can wait, I'll bring something for you to take home. "

Luigi's eyes go wide as the figure turns their face and looks right at the waiter. "Fine."

Luigi snaps his head towards Mario. "I found him. Wake me up.", and Mario sprints towards the dream portal, and a moment later, the pinch pulls Luigi awake.

As the team gathers around the bed, Luigi says, "I saw the face."

"No." Luigi shakes his head at another picture, then suddenly, "That's it. A Magikoopa. Except the robes weren't blue."
