Chapter 56

Frank's POV:
I rush into the cafe and blend into the crowd as I make my way to the dressing room around the back. I open the door and observe the large poster of me on the wall, there are large red candles around the picture and a rose, a real black rose. I stare in admiration and interest as I watch the candles flicker with an awesome black flame, the rose fits pefectly with the candles, style and colour.
I look at the large mirror where I see Gerard's cigarettes and eyeliner. I see Mikey's straightener and a large poster of me again. They really wanted this show to mean something didn't they, it's almost depressing being in this room. I sit down on the bed and start tuning my guitar while practicing some riffs and chords that I'd need. I hear the end of 'I don't love you' and start straightening my fringe over my eyes, I put my nose piercing in my nose and put on Gerard's skinny jeans. They were just sitting there so I don't think he'll mind too much.
Gerard's voice rings through the wall.
"The next song is one of my favourites, and I'm pretty sure Frank loved it too, this one goes out to all of you who have a girlfriend or a boyfriend who's cheating on you" he says as I hear a lot of cheering. I look down. I pick up Pansy and open another door that leads to the stage.
I see a drum kit but a girl with long, brown hair is playing it. Huh? A girl... I look out onto the stage and catch a glimpse of Mikey doing a power stance and playing the bass riff of 'I'm not okay'.
Ray's kinda standing there and waiting for my part. I see a large red curtain behind the drummer and decide this is my chance. The stage is huge considering the fact this is supposedly a cafe. I run behind the curtain, hoping nobody saw me. I slide over to the amp and quickly plug in my guitar. I look over to the drums as they start to open up for my part. I jump out of the shadows completely and start rocking out while playing the opening to the song, my part of the song. Gerard stands still and I think he's frozen, the crowd cheers and screams as I belt out the riff. Ray and Mikey both grin widely as they run over to me and hug me. But Gerard has a haunted look on his face as I come up beside him and continue playing.
The verse comes in and Gerard starts singing but he sounds a little over whelmed.
"Well if you wanted honesty that's all you had to say" he starts singing as he turns around to me and smiles. I smile back at him as he continues singing.
"I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way! For all the dirty looks" he points the microphone to the crowd "The what?" He shouts at them. The crowd screams back to him "the photographs your boyfriend took, remember when you broke your foot from jumping out the second floor" Gerard sings again.
He comes over to me and strokes my hair and touches my cheeks. He smiles again and hugs me tightly. I try to play the riff through his hug even though I get two or three notes out of place.
"I'm not okay! I'm not okay!" Gerard sings as he rubs my back and smiles widely at me. He points the mic to me as I sing and play the guitar.
"I'm not okay! You wear me out" Gerard joins me and puts his mouth close to mine as we sing.
When we finish the line I give him a peck on the lips and stick my tongue out as he smirks and goes back to the front of the stage.
The girls in the front start screaming and Gerard does his usual sassy antics. I laugh as I continue playing. I look at Alice and get on my knees to the side of the stage. I make the shape of a love heart and gesture for her to come over to me. She does and I smile, every girl in the front glares at her as I kiss her cheek and jump back.
Thank you Alice. Thank you for being there for me when nobody else was.
Gerard smiles slightly at Alice and I as he continues singing the second verse.
"What will it take to show you that it's not the life it seems, I've told you time and time again you sing the words but" he walks over to Mikey and points the mic to him. Mikey laughs and sings the next line.
"Don't know what it means!" he shouts with Gerard. Gerard runs back to the front of the stage and messes up his black hair as it falls on his face. I run up in front of him and play the riff while he backs up.
"To be a joke and look" he widens his eyes as his jet black hair falls on his face "another line without a hook, I held you close as we both shook" he continues singing to me as I play and start walking him to the back of the stage, he smiles and walks off to the side singing back to the crowd. I follow him back to the front and walk over to Ray.
"For the last time, take a good hard look!" Gerard screams.
Ray gets ready to back up Gerard and I start getting more into the guitar riff. I kick the mic stand down and run off to the other side of the stage. Ray goes to sing and realizes the mic on the ground, I laugh at him and run over to Gerard for protection.
Ray gets pissed and comes over to me, he pushes me down, behind Gerard and runs back to the mic all while Gerard sings the chorus. Ray goes back over to the right hand side of the stage and picks up the microphone. Gerard walks backwards and I trip him over while I lay down and wait for Ray to finish the guitar solo
Eventually when Ray finishes his part Gerard sings again as he stumbles up from the ground.
"Forget about the dirty looks, the photographs your boyfriend took" I cross my legs as he looks down at me screaming "You said you read me like a book, but the pages all are torn and frayed!" he starts to walk forward as I lay my head back and play to the crowd.
I stay silent and stop playing while he whispers "I'm okay" and jumps down so he's leaning over me, I smile up at him as I wait for him to scream at me. He points the mic to the audience and instead they scream "I'm okay!".
Gerard stands up as he gets off me and walks up to the front of the stage.
"I'm okay now" Gerard sings as Ray echoes his voice.
"But you really need to listen to me because I'm telling you the truth, I mean this I'm okay!" He screams to the crowd. I jump up and onto his back as I kiss his cheek.
"Trust me" I say into the microphone as I wrap my arms around his neck. He smiles and holds my hands as I jump off his back and swing my guitar around as I continue playing the song.
Gerard reaches out to the audience.
"I'm not okay! I'm not okay, well I'm not okay, I'm not o fucking kay! I'm not okay, I'm not okay" he sings as Ray joins. I run up to the mic and sing along "Okay".
The crowd cheers and screams as Gerard puts the mic back in the stand.
"Thank you for coming out tonight, we hope you enjoyed the show, there will be a meet and greet right after the show if you just wait outside" he informs the audience as they all cheer and start clapping loudly. Gerard smiles and walks over to me as I offer my hand to Alice and help her up onto the stage. Alice holds my hand and kisses my cheek.
"You guys were great" she compliments us.
Ray comes over and punches me in the shoulder as I giggle. Mikey starts smiling as he hugs me again and walks over to where Ray is. There's only three people left because everybody else rushed outside to the meet and greet. There's a girl with messy pink hair and a My Chemical Romance t shirt. She seems... Creepy as she watches us.
There's a girl with violet hair and a black shirt on with a red tartan skirt and ripped stockings. There's another girl with light blue streaks in her blonde hair and a leather jacket with some skinny jeans.
"That was a great set guys" the blonde says as she walks over to the front of the stage.
"Thanks" I smile at her as Gerard puts his arm around my shoulder.
Alice continues holding my hand as she gives the girl with pink hair a worried look.
I try to distract myself from her looking at the girl.
"What's your name?" I ask the blonde. She blushes.
"Oh uhh, my name's Chloe, I just love you guys and I live around here so I thought I might stay back and talk to you guys, since I have nowhere to be I mean" she answers. I smile at her and Gerard suddenly takes his arm off me and jumps off the stage.
"Caitlin!" He exclaims as he throws his arms around her, she smiles and hugs him back.
"Hey Gerard" Caitlin replies.
I laugh and sit on the edge of the stage. Alice looks down at the ground so I pull her down with me, she looks over at Gerard and Caitlin and I see him smiling at Caitlin and talking to her. Alice looks down again. I lift her chin and look into her eyes as I kiss her slowly and gently. She closes her eyes and puts her hand on my cheek as I move my hand to her hair and stroke it.
I really don't trust this pink haired girl, she's stalking around the cafe and watching everything we do. I take Alice's hand off my cheek and hold it as I continue making out with her. I start to kick my feet as I continue kissing her. She starts to kick hers as well.
Tony comes up behind us and clears her throat. What!?
"Frank?" She sounds devastated.
I feel bad but SHE left me, this shouldn't bother her at all. She grabs my arm and pulls me away from Alice.
"Hey!" I exclaim as she roughly yanks me away "what the hell Tony!?" I shout as she pushes me behind the red curtain.
"Can we talk?!" She yells with tears in her eyes "Please?!" she looks extremely sad.
"Okay..." I reply as she drags me into the dressing room.

There we go, Allllll Frank. So what do you guys think about Caitlin and Gerard, what do you think is going on between them? And yes I know you all hate Tony but Frank doesn't and he's giving her a chance so just chill...
