Chapter 40

Gerard's POV:
Tony actually thinks I like her. I can see that she's trying to be cute and I almost feel bad for her because she doesn't see that I was just using her but now I couldn't care less about her, Considering the fact that Alice ran out of the room crying. Tough love I guess. Maybe now she'd know how I felt when she was with Frank. I know he makes her happy... And I wish I could make her that happy. But it seems like I only depress her.
Mikey comes over to the lounge and sits next to Tony.
She smiles at him as he puts his arm on the top of the lounge. At first he smiles back at her but then he quickly takes his arm off the lounge and wraps it around his other arm. I laugh at him as he awkwardly looks at the ground rubbing his arm.
Wow Mikey! So awkward...
Tony looks at me with a smile, as she laughs along with me.
Ray comes over and shoves a piece of paper in my face.
"Look at this, it's the menu for that coffee shop Mikes told you about" he offers the paper to me.
I take the paper from Ray and read it out.
"caramel latte, scones with jam and cream" I giggle while they stare at me confused, I clear my throat and continue reading "uhh, coffee, biscuits, milkshakes" I continue down the list "bla bla bla..." I pause at one of the things on the list.
"Read it" Ray urges me.
"Chemically romantic muffins?" I laugh out loud. Ray bursts out laughing and Tony giggles. Mikey smiles a little smile and we all start laughing in unison.
"Okay, seriously of all things to name after us, they chose muffins" Mikey says, disappointed "Why couldn't they have my chemical coffee or something" he bursts.
I laugh at his anger and disappointment.
"Well, because that would be too obvious" I smile at Mikey. He rolls his eyes and laughs.
"We should start advertising for the show" I inform them "I'll draw up the posters" I excitedly continue grabbing my pencil case and walking over to the bench.
Mikey laughs at me and Ray joins me at the bench.
"Cool, so I was thinking we should do three songs" Ray states.
"Okay, what were you thinking?" Mikey asks walking over to the bench. Tony quickly jumps up and comes over as well.
"Actually I was thinking..." I cut in "Destroya, I'm not okay and..." I pause as Mikey grins.
"How about disenchanted?" his face lights up. I sigh.
"Fine, and disenchanted" I mumble. Mikey smiles at me.
"We don't have to settle on three songs you know, it was just a thought" Ray explains as he gets me a large piece of paper. I smile and thank him as I set down the paper in front of me.
"Dead!" Mikey shouts. We all laugh at him.
"Okay and we can do mama" I continue as I start ruling out lines on the paper.
"Okay, I have a suggestion too," Ray says "I want to do summertime" he puts his hands on the bench in front of me.
"Okay" I take out a marker and start going over my sketch carefully.
Mikey smiles at me.
"We aren't doing a full show, we need to cut out some stuff" he says.
"Okay, you're right," I agree "how about we cut out... Disenchanted" I smirk as Mikey glares at me.
"No! Disenchanted stays!" He yells back at me, he smiles at me and tries to look really innocent "but, we could get rid of uhh, destroya" he teases.
"Hey people love destroya" I defend as Mikey rolls his eyes.
"Yeah, you're right, people definitely want to hear your 'Geegasm'" he quotes.
"Yeah, yes they do, I'm a very sexy man you know" I argue with him, Tony laughs and agrees with me.
"Okay we can get rid of..." I try to think.
Tony smiles and suggests we get rid of I'm not okay or mama.
"No way are we getting rid of mama" I laugh at her.
I take out different coloured pencils and start going over my design.
"That's it! We're taking out dead! And I'm not okay," Ray shouts "will you stop arguing now" he begs.
"No wait! I have another idea," I exclaim "Na Na Na has to be in the line up" I go on with my hand on my cheek.
"He's right," Ray agrees "We have to have the new single".
Great this is gonna be a hard decision.

Alice's POV:
I cry in Frank's arms as he smiles. I can't do this anymore, I can't allow myself to be so unfaithful. I pull away from Frank and wipe my smudged make up.
"Frank" I say.
"yes?" He asks me moving my fringe away from my eyes.
"Do you really love me?" I ask him as he stops smiling.
"Why?" He replies unsure.
I push my fringe out of my face and put my hand over my mouth.
"Because I feel like you don't really love me... I feel like you just say that you love me without meaning it" I explain. What am I saying, of coarse I know he loves me. He looks really hurt by my question and he puts his hand on his heart both figuratively and literally.
"I love you Alice, I-I mean that, I've never felt like this about anyone," he takes my hands "not even Tony" he admits. I suddenly feel amazingly happy. I throw my arms around him almost tackling him to the ground.
"I never knew you felt like that" I smile as he puts his hands around my waist and pulls me closer while resting his head on my shoulder.
"Of coarse I mean it Alice, I love you" he whispers into my hair. I giggle as his hands travel to my back. He kisses me gently but passionatley, I feel like I'm on a cloud right now, flying higher into the sky as he kisses me and I accept his kiss, he moves his hands in perfectly pleasurable ways.
I can't stop him, I don't want to. He understands my limits and he's gentle. Gerard would never be this romantic with me, he probably doesn't even think about me that way. I feel Frank move his hands into the back pockets of my jeans as he continues kissing me, he has a cute laugh as he grins and walks me into the wall. He pushes me gently and bites my lip. This moment couldn't be more perfect.
