Tony's POV:
Mikey starts playing a random riff on his bass, he knows I'm listening and watching so he turns off his amp.
"That sounded so good Mikey" I compliment him. But he looks down and stops playing.
"Umm thanks" he mumbles quickly. Ray starts playing his guitar and he plays the first note of disenchanted. Mikey immediately listens to the familiar riff, smiling slightly.
He sings the opening quietly.
Ray laughs as he joins.
"I can't sing guys, but I'll try" I tell them. Ray laughs and Mikey starts smiling as we sing louder. I sit between Ray and Mikey laughing and singing.
When Ray ends the song with the last chord I jump up to hug them, I squeeze them into a group hug and stand back as they look at me.
"Awesome job guys!" I exclaim. Mikey looks down with a shy expression while Ray smiles.
"I have something to tell you though" I take a deep breath and wait for them to ask, surprisingly Mikey's the one to ask.
"Okay, I'm joining you guys as your drummer for the coffee shop gig!" I exclaim. Mikey looks shocked while Ray stares at me with a look of suspicion.
"Do you even play drums?" Mikey asks.
"Of course I do, it was actually Gerard's idea" I tell them with a smile. Mikey rolls his eyes.
"Right..." He utters.
Ray looks at Mikey while they exchange looks of disappointment.
"Well, I expected a warmer welcome than that but okay" I trail off as my excitement dies down.
Mikey looks up, he just looks completely done and extremely pissed off. Ray seems more annoyed than anything else and I just feel awkward now. Just as I go to sit down I hear a slow knock on the door.
Ray walks over and opens the door to see a droopy and depressed Gerard dragging himself into the truck. Mikey jumps off the couch and runs to Gerard.
"Where were you?" Ray asks. Gerard doesn't answer he just stares at the ground with a miserable attitude and I can tell he's been crying. He sniffles a little making an adorable sound as he tries to dry his nose. He keeps walking to the bedroom as Mikey stands in front of him, blocking the way.
Mikey is still standing in the way and Gerard suddenly throws himself on him, gripping his shirt and leaning against his chest. I can hear his loud sobs, I can tell he's in a lot of pain, poor Gerard...
Mikey is just standing there hugging Gerard as Gerard cries his eyes out on his shirt. It's probably the cutest thing I've ever seen. But Gerard is so destroyed, I wonder why...
Ray goes over to Gerard as he loses balance and slides down Mikeys leg. He's at Mikey's waist level now and he's on his knees, screaming out his cries but muffling them into Mikey's leg. Mikey himself looks sad, it must break him completely to see Gerard like this.
"What happened Gerard?" He asks, generally confused. I wait for Gerard's answer as I am also completely confused.
"Alice loves HIM, she told me she wants to be with him... For his sake" his voice is muffled and stained with tears but I can just make out what he's saying.
"Oh man... Gee, I don't know what to say" Ray replies pushing his curly afro out of his face.
"Then don't" Gerard answers in a bitter tone.
He tries to grab Mikey's shoulders while he stumbles back up, sliding up against Mikey's chest. I feel so bad for him, how could Alice just break his heart like that. A sudden realization flashes in my mind, it hits me like a ton of bricks.
"I just need to be alone" Gerard says walking towards the bedroom with a slow and mopey motion.
I've done this to Frank, haven't I, but Gerard is so much more gentle and caring than Frank... So why would Alice pick him over Gerard?

Alice's POV:
I feel the midnight air settle around me and I watch the bright moon light up the local park, it's worth a try, he could have run to the park.
I pick up my pace as I run across the road to the park. There's a group of men gathering around a short guy pushing him in a circle and beating him to the ground.
"Stop!" I yell without thinking. The men instantly turn their attention to me as the guy endures one last kick to the gut.
Upon further examination I see that the guy has long black hair covering his face, although his face is bruised and he has a bleeding nose I can see he has hazel eyes. Oh god! Frank?! I push the men and kneel down to Frank, he coughs up blood in puddles.
"What did they do to you Frank?" I tearfully ask as I softly move his black side fringe off of his face. I turn around to see the men taking off down the street.
"Emo fag!" They all scream in unison.
Frank holds his chest and coughs up more blood as I help him up.
"What were you doing out here?" I ask him, he won't talk, his answers are short and he's barely staying awake. I rush him to the hospital but just before we make it into the parking lot he holds his stomach and screams out dropping on his back and holding onto his abdomen in a fetal position. What did they do to you?! He's screaming out and arching his back, he's clearly in excruciating pain. I hurry to help him up as he groans and his coughing worsens. He'll drown in his blood if I don't help him. I cock his head back and hold his nose.
"Exhale Frank!" I demand him. Although he's in pain he tries to exhale. I pull his head down and let the crimson flow out of his nose. Those absolute scum bags! I put my arm around Frank's torso and he winces and screams, but I force him to carry on until we get into the hospital. The minute we do he starts to scream louder as if he's trying to push something, as if he's about to explode... I've never seen a human in this much agony before. Nurses rush over to him as he screams louder and grips onto his stomach, his breathing gets heavier and he continues coughing blood.
The nurses strap him down on a trolley as he screams in pain and shouts at them to stop, they rush him away and I can hear him scream my name.
"Alice! Alice!" I can't help you now Frank. I feel my eyes watering as he continues to scream in agony but tries to call for me. I sit down on a chair and prey for the best... There isn't a point preying, I don't even believe in god. If there was a god he wouldn't let Frank suffer like this. You'll be okay Frank, I promise...
