Frank's POV:
I have no idea how far away the city is now, I just know I've been running for hours.
At least I've run enough to the point of Alice and Gerard getting too exhausted to follow me.
I continue running down the long road.
I finally see something, a car.
It's a blue car.
Without even the slightest effort to stop myself I jump out onto the road.
The car is only inches from hitting me and the driver screams.
I go around to the door and start banging away at the window.
The girl in the light blue honda is really freaked out, her hair is long and curled, she looks like she was on her way back into the town.
I had no concept of time from the moment I came back to life, I forget what it is that makes a day end or a night come.
It's getting really dark out... This car is really my only way back.
I bang away at the window again.
The girl gets freaked out and in a panic she unlocks the door.
I jump in and sit in the passenger seat next to her.
"Thank you" I thank her.
"How are you alive? How did you get out here?" She questions.
I look over at her and notice her hair and face.
"Doctor?" I ask in an unsure tone.
She looks over at me and nods.
I take her hand off the steering wheel and hold it tightly.
"Please you gotta help me doc! I need help!" I shout, I notice how crazy I sound.
She nods at me and smiles sadly, snatching her hand away.
"I will help you Frank, but I was on my way to my step father's funeral" she puts her hands over her eyes and sniffles "I'm sorry".
My gaze travels to a necklace she's holding in her other hand.
"Did he give that to you?" I ask curiously "sorry, I don't mean to pry" I quickly apologize.
Jemma smiles at me and lets go of her necklace, letting it fall back on her chest.
"It's a beautiful necklace, it suits you" I compliment her "I'm sure he's still showing his love even from beyond" I continue making a mystical gesture.
Jemma giggles.
"Well, I only hope so" she replies.
I smile at her and take her hand.
"May I" I ask.
She nods with a slight smile.
I open her hand.
"Okay, I think the line going across there means you will have a long life, I'm pretty sure" I tell her.
She smiles and asks me about my tattoos.
"Well, I have heaps of tatts" I reply as I show her my fingers.
She gasps and smiles, pulling up her rather formal blouse sleeves.
I'm pleasently surprised to find she has a small jack-o-lantern on her wrist with letters over it that say "Halloween" in running writing.
"I love yours" she smiles "it's definitely creative".
I smile back at her and clasp my hands together.
"This one says bookworm" I tell her, showing her the word.
She claps.
"Very clever" she smiles again.
"Jemma, do you know who I am?" I ask her.
She tilts her head to the side and smiles.
"Of course I know who you are" she replies "you're my patient who came back from the dead" she laughs.
I smile at her joke.
"No really, I know you are the Frank Iero from My Chemical Romance" she dramatically says "I just think my job comes before my interests in music, I'm terribly sorry if you wanted me to kiss you and hug you like every other crazy fan girl" she laughs.
I laugh along.
"No, I'm glad you didn't" I reply with a sweet smile.
She starts driving back into town.
"So then how is your stomach?" She asks as she puts her hand on it "it feels fine, no worrying lumps or anything" she continues rubbing my stomach while driving.
"Yeah, everything's fine... Except, I need my medicine and I don't have it" I say.
Jemma opens the glove box and I see a large container, I open it and look through for the pills I need.
"I have a schizophrenic son, Jack" she tells me.
"I'm sure you're a great mother" I reply, digging around for pills.
I shove them in my mouth and Jemma hands me a bottle of water from the back seat.
I smile and thank her.
"Could we..." I start.
Jemma gives me a confused look.
"Could we what?" She asks.
I lick my lips, removing the water.
Jemma starts driving towards the city, we're getting close.
"I was hoping we could go somewhere to eat something and maybe talk some more" I say.
Jemma smiles.
"Of course we can, is there a specific place you want to go?" She asks.
I shake my head.
She smiles at me and shakes her head along with me.
"You remind me of him, you know" she says.
I tilt my head.
"You mean..." I start.
"Jack" she interrupts.
"Really?" I ask.
She nods with a cheerful expression.
I sigh and look out the window.
"How old is Jack?" I ask.
She tucks her blonde, curly hair behind her ears and stops the car at a gas station.
"He's eleven" she smiles "my husband actually came up with his name, Patrick is my husband, he's a great husband" she goes on.
I smile and nod.
Of course she's married, I'd be more surprised if she wasn't.
She's beautiful, ambitious and smart.
I wish I could possess at least one of those qualities.
Her smile is one that makes you want to smile, she's a great person to be around.
"I'll be back" she says opening the door and stepping out "do you want anything?" She suddenly asks.
"uhh... How about..." I try to decide.
"I usaully get Jack an ice cream or something" she helps.
"Okay" I smile "I'll have whatever" I continue with a grin.
She smiles and gets out her wallet.
"Okay, I'll be back soon" she says and she starts walking across to the servo.
When she goes into the servo I see her bag, still here.
I reach into her bag and see heaps of mints, a comb, a notebook, pills, her phone, a gun...
I shiver and close her bag, waiting for her to get back.

Gerard's POV:
Alice is complaining about the walk back to town and saying we shouldn't have ran after Frank for an hour. We should really have saved our energy.
It's not to say that I disagree with her but... Shut the fuck up!
She's been whining the whole time, and when I offer to pick her up she refuses.
What is wrong with her, it's like she's trying to be a pain in my neck.
I want to pull her into my arms and kiss her, show her how much I care but she's seriously trying to stop whatever we're doing.
One day it'll be too late, and I'll wish that I did something now.
I stop walking, simultaneously stopping her from walking.
"Alice," I start, moving her bangs out of her face "tell me it meant something! Tell me you wanted me to go further, you wanted me to have sex with you... I know you did" I say as I caress her cheek.
She looks away from me and takes my hand off her cheek, holding it with hers.
I smile at her and she kisses my lips, I twist her and catch her in my arms.
I need more, more passion.
Alice suddenly stops kissing me and yanks herself up, grabbing onto my shoulders.
She quickly escapes my grip and starts walking faster.
I try to catch up with her as she walks faster with her head down.
"Alice! Frank isn't here! You don't need to pretend that you don't like me, I know how you feel" I shout to her, my voice becoming more gentle.
She stops walking completely and allows me to catch up.
Her eyes are wide as she stares at the ground.
"Please, Alice... Don't let this be the end for us, I'm sure Frank understands" I tell her.
Her eyes start to water as she looks up at me. I grab her shoulders and pull her close, kissing her hair.
"Frank hates me right now, he thinks that I... Faked everything now, doesn't he?" She demands as she grips my shirt and cries loudly into it.
I stroke her hair, slowly.
"Frank doesn't hate you Alice, or me... He just needs some time alone" I say.
Alice hugs me tighter.
"Gerard, you're right... I still love you, I never stopped" she says through tears.
I've never been happier.
I'm so glad she still loves me, I only hope that Frank will understand... Unless she doesn't tell him and continues pretending she doesn't love me.
Alice... You better not be lying to me again.
