Kurenai swung his arm at Kiba, but missed, "Shit, this is bad." Kurenai thought to himself, Kiba tapped Kurenai and sent him flying back, "What the hell...dammit." Kurenai whispered to himself, "What? Thinking about what your last words will be? I'd be doing that if I were you, too." Kiba mockingly said as he grabbed Kurenai and began beating him recklessly. Kurenai coughed up blood as he looked at Kiba, "Unlike you, I have a family I care for, I've gotta get back to them." Kurenai told Kiba. Kiba laughed, "What the hell? A family you care for? That's dumb!" Kiba yelled, Kurenai looked at Kiba, "Repeat that bullshit again." He said as he charged at Kiba.

In the past...

"Kurenai, I've been meaning to ask you, why exactly is your name Kurenai? That's a girls name." Ishigi asked Kurenai, Kurenai sighed, "When I was born, my parents hadn't come up with a name. My dad was out of town, and my mom didn't have energy, and there was my uncle, the only one who could. He didn't have any knowledge on names, and named me Kurenai!" Kurenai said, "Wow! That's cool!" Ishigi exclaimed.

"Hey, Kurenai?" Solko asked, "What is it?" Kurenai replied, "Well, I want you to know that no matter what happens, even though Ishigi died, just know that I'll always be by your side to help you in any situation! Even if I'm dead!" Solko exclaimed, Kurenai smiles.

"Hey, Kurenai? I know that I'm about to end it all. And I'm glad that you're allowing me to, some people would call you a bad friend for letting your own brother off himself, but you want me to do what I want to do, thank you, brother." Rinosua said to Kurenai before committing suicide.

"Kurenai, we'll win any battle. And we'll do it as brothers, no matter what the hell we're up against!" Shinginke yelled.

"Kurenai, you're super arrogant, you never give up, you're optimistic, you have a big ego, yet you put your friends and family before you. Over all, you're an amazing person, and that's why I love you!" Shizune said.

Kurenai swung his fist at Kiba, but he dodged it, "Dammit, if I don't win, all of the deaths would have been for nothing. With my luck, he's gonna go after my family next, if he does, I've gotta protect them, I'll kill Kiba in time!" Kurenai thought to himself. Kiba charged and hit Kurenai in the jaw, causing him to cough up blood, "What the hell, you think you can defeat me, yet you can't even handle a little punch from me. You're weak." Kiba said, "I can handle anything you throw at me, I just let my guard down, that's all!" Kurenai said as he charged at Kiba and hit his stomach, Kiba was unfazed, "If that was all you've got, you'll never ever win against me!" Kiba yelled, Kurenai looked at Kiba with fear, "How the hell were you unfazed? I hit you with tremendous power. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!" Kurenai asked in utter fear, Kiba hit Kurenai in the stomach and sent him flying into a tree, causing it to explode on impact, "Me? What am I? Well, I'm your worst nightmare, Kurenai Kentamo!" Kiba replied to Kurenai's question. Kurenai got up, and then ran to Kiba, "You bastard, I'll kill you!" Kurenai yelled.
