There was silence. "You swear in your life, huh?" Kurai said from the loudspeaker, "That's right! Your twisted games killed my son! I'll make you pay, you bitch!" Kurenai yelled, he then lifted up his hair on his left side, which had been grown out to cover the scar going across it and the burn surrounding it. Atem's eyes widened as he saw a second scar going diagonal through Kurenai's eye. "The battle with Kiba. He got another one?" Atem thought, "What? That wasn't there. When did he get that one?" Kurai thought. Everyone was confused. That scar was never there. "Kurenai, where the hell did that one come from?" Mono asked, "This one isn't from a fight. At least, not a physical one." Kurenai said, and Shizune's eyes widened, "You've been suffering through mental trauma. Haven't you? And I wasn't there." She said softly, "Yeah. This scar was self-inflicted. So were all of these." Kurenai said as he lifted up his sleeve, revealing multiple scars along his arm, "Dad, you were always there for us. Why the hell weren't you there for yourself!?" Koneko asked in confusion, "That isn't important. After the battle with Kiba. I died. But, I realized something. I've killed so many innocent people. Chrome, Umaki, Dosu, Kiba, and now Katsuki. I'm even the one to blame for when Shinginke and Solko died." Kurenai said, "How were all of them innocent?" Atem asked, "Chrome was manipulated. Umaki was forced. Dosu wanted revenge on the Kentamo clan. Kiba was infected with a parasite. Katsuki just wanted to make the world a better place." Kurenai explained, "What about that clone of yours? He was terrible!" Shizune said, "He was artificial. He was made for a purpose. He had no choice." Kurenai said, "Shut the fuck up! All of you! We're wasting valuable time of my precious games!" Kurai yelled, followed by a ringing from the loudspeaker, "Fine! What's next?" Kurenai asked, "Something beautiful!" Kurai said, followed by Shizune falling into a pit directly below her full of needles. "SHIZUNE!!!" Kurenai yelled, jumping into the pit with no hesitation.
