I arrived at the hotel and walked in to find Evelyn already standing there, arms folded, (show off... trying to show off his muscles), a livid look gracing his features. Ok maybe gracing was the wrong word to describe it but he certainly looked furious.

"Oh Evelyn... hey... wassup..." I nodded, "Ok no pleasant talk I guess. I'll get straight to the point." Evelyn stared down at me, again, my height was letting me down, if only I could look down at him... "I'm utterly sorry Evelyn but my boss- Antonio... told me not to tell me... what I was working- though honestly it is utterly boring it mainly consists of making coffee- and more specifically where I work." I paused letting out the a slow breath. "I mean, it's only fair right?" I asked him, Evelyn still remained deadly quiet.

"You won't tell me what you work as." I continued quietly. Evelyn seemed to let out a breath trying to calm himself down.

"Hazel, that's different. I'm doing that so you don't get hurt, it's not my boss who told me not to."

"Great- so you work at a potentially dangerous place and have a boss, anything else you want to tell me." Evelyn realised that he was giving away too much. "I knew it, you're in the mafia." I said simply walking past. Evelyn stiffened up again.

"I am not in the mafia, I swear." I observed him.

"That's good for you because if you were I would divorce you." I replied, trying not to imagine Evelyn shooting at innocent people. "And who doesn't want to have me around for the rest of their miserable little lives?" Evelyn was still trying to take in the last bit of information.

"You would di- wait that's not what I was talking about- you always change the direction of the conversation." A hint of frustration began creeping into his voice. I tried to slide past but Evelyn quickly grabbed me by my arms, encaging them- at least that was what it felt like. His hand managed to wrap itself around my arm with his fingers touching each other.

"Hazel it's important for you to tell me where you work." He insisted, his grip tightening a little.

"Evelyn seriously you have to stop doing this." I snapped trying to shrug away his hands, which seemed impossible.

"No." Evelyn said firmly, glaring down at me. "Not until you tell me." I stared back.

"look Evelyn, you tell me. And I'll tell you." I said slowly. I managed to rip my hands away. "I mean you fired me before for no reason anyway so it's actually you're fault I landed in this job." Evelyn took in a deep breath, his face turning a little red. He gritted his teeth.

"Hazel."

"No- not Hazel." I snapped back trying not to get too frustrated. "I don't see why you get to hide what you do if I don't get to do the same."

"Don't you think it's just a little suspicious that you bloody boss doesn't want me to know what you work as? Where you work?" I shook my head.

"No. It's just... he said you were business rivals or something, so you probably wouldn't let me keep the job." I was allowed to say that bit wasn't I? Evelyn seemed momentarily confused.

"Business rivals?" He asked slowly, I started striding away. "Wait Hazel you don't understand-" He let out a growl of frustration as I closed the door in his face.

I heard the clatter of a chair hitting the floor and guessed he'd probably kicked it. Him and his anger problem.

That night I slept on the sofa again, ignoring Evelyn's stare as I made myself comfortable.

The next few days passed quickly, it soon became routine for me to wake up and find Evelyn already leaving, he seemed to be going earlier each day. The work was the same each day at my job, making coffees, filing, printing etc. I hadn't seen Antonio for the past few days either, which for some reason was a relief. His perfect smile seemed a little too perfect. I found myself thinking that if Antonio was Zeus or something than Evelyn would probably be Hades. The thought was amusing.
