A quick hello!! Thankyou again for all your comments, votes and views. It really means a lot (I know we said this last time but we really really mean it so we're probably going to thank you all every two seconds hahahahah) Enjoy :D

Hazel's POV

I stared at Evelyn. He stared back with desperate, lost eyes. I didn't know what to say.

"Evelyn.." I said softly "You...this...you're in a bad place right now,"

He seemed to give up hope at that reply. His eyes flickered away and he refused to look at me. He reculently let go of my wrist.

"Evelyn-"

"No, I know. I don't deserve it .I understand,"

"It's not that I don't want to give you a chance," I said. " I dont know if you really want this"

He blinked at me.

"What do you mean?" he said quietly "Why would I not want this if just asked you for another chance"

"You're in an emotional state of mind right now. I don't want to exploit that," I mumbled. "What if you change your mind once you get better? What if this is just your pain speaking? I don't wwant to take advantage of that."

He stared at me with a disbelieving look.

"You're ridiculous Hazel," he said finally. "You think you might be taking advantage of me? Are you being serious?"

I mumbled something even I didn't understand in reply then coughed. "But we'll talk about this in the morning,"

He stared at me for a while longer then closed his eyes. "Fine," he said softly. I could read an entire sentence behind that word 'Fine, maybe by then you'll have thought of enough excuses,"

I stared down at him. "But I'll stay the night," I decided.

He opened his eyes in surprise as I jumped onto the bed as gently as I could and followed me as I settled down.

There was a minutes silence whilst we both stared at the ceiling.

"So, Evelyn," I said, turning to face him finally "Tell me about yourself. Tell me about you,"

He looked confused for a second then nodded. "I work quite a lot for this company. But they hire me when they need me. Otherwise I am not a permanent member of the company. I work for who I want. You could call me a lone ranger I suppose. However, this one time I had no choice but to take this assignment as the orders came from higher up. Truthfully-"

"tell me about YOU Evelyn YOU! Not your job! Your life! tell me about your life" I interrupted.

He was silent in reply as if he was at a loss for words.

"I er--"

I nearly gasped. Evelyn never faltered! He never said 'er' or 'erm'! Only normal peasantly people hesitated.

"I don't know what you mean," He said finally. "My life is my work,"

I stared at him. He looked grim, as if he didn't like this realisation.

"No it's not," I said. "Tell me what you like, what you dislike, where you would like to go on holidays. Your dreams and hopes and fears and all that gooey feeling stuff"

He was quiet for another minute as if he was thinking of a reply. He looked concentrated and deep in thought. "I like coffee," he paused, "and I like you," he added.
