"Is that Namjoon? And Seokjin?" Nyala just about shouted.

The two laughed loud at the fact they had just been found out.

Everyone laughed more when they heard Seokjin's high pitched laugh.

"Sorry, it's just, that was funny." Namjoon said after he calmed down.

"The others are getting ready and should be out soon. C'mom kids, let your parents come back to life." Seokjin ushered everyone out the room.

"Where's the bathroom?" Maria asked.

"Oh it's down the hallway."

So everyone decided to stepped out.

As they were walking through the hallway, a painting had caught the eye of Fernando from before. He stopped to observe it and with him all the kids followed to stand in from of it.

So then the adults also stopped to take a look.

Seokjin and Namjoon walked a few steps towards them to see what the commotion was.

It was an old drawing kept in a frame placed against the wall on an accent cabinet.

Probably one of their most prized possessions.

"Ohh wow! It that Mr. Jimin!" Iletsi asked as she recognized the man, "he looks so young!"

He was asleep on a couch, a blanket thrown from him.

"Yeah, it was a drawing someone very special made and gifted to him." Namjoon answered as he looked at the picture with a sad smile.

The company had gotten rid of anything and everything related to their soulmate. Everything had been deleted. Anything that could potentially come up again, that could lead them to who it was, had been taking care by the company almost immediately.

But Jimin found this drawing of him in between his things. It was neatly placed within a thin leather binder.

"Oh look! That's mom's birthday!" Kcire pointed to the only type of signature that was at the corner of the page.

A date

Nothing else.

22/4/2020

Aila leaned in to see what Kcire was talking about.

"Oh! That is my birthday!"

"Wow! That's so cool! Look it's 2020! What were you doing that day mom?" He asked, the fact it was dated for his mom's birthday such a coincidence.

"Umm..... I was at Yosemite Park, that's where I spent the day. I have pictures I took while I was there." Aila answered while she stared at the pencil drawing. It was beautiful.

She still had the pictures she published back in her instagram account of that trip. She doesn't really remember what happened, probably because it had to do with her soulmates but having the photos she took did help reinforce the little bit of memories she still had.

"When was this done?" She asked.

"It was done in a cabin actually." Jimin's voice came behind them.

Everyone turned to look as he stepped into the hallway with Jungkook and Hoseok.

All three looked fresh showered.

Aila felt her heart jump at how Jimin's hair looked wet.

"It was done at a trip we took before doing our Map of the Soul tour in the US." He smiled as he stepped next to Kcire, who was still admiring the drawing.

It wasn't a big drawing either, nothing crazy. Just a pencil drawing on a standard blank sheet of paper. The paper was a nice thick quality, they remember that much from when they placed it in the frame.

They also had photos of that trip.

They found several photos of their trip, but they didn't remember where they went. The photos were all of them, sitting or walking with beautiful mountains in the background. Those were some of the very few photos they loved of themselves. They felt so candid, so natural, so much like regular soulmates and not the famous BTS. The company didn't care about the photos, since they didn't contain anything about who took them, so they got to keep them.

They also don't really remember the trip. Which, they concluded, could only mean one thing: they took the trip with their soulmate and he probably took the photos.

As well as did the drawing.

"Wow, well it's beautiful. You look so young Mr. Jimin." Love also made a comment as she leaned in to take a close look.

"Thanks I guess. Does that mean I don't look young anymore?" Love felt her face get hot at the accusation Jimin had just made.

"I'm joking Love."

She sheepishly smiled.

"Wait, so that's your birthday Aila?" Jungkook asked, wanting to make sure he heard right.

"Yeah that's my birthday. That day, I was on a trip to Yosemite park."

"Oh so you went there for your birthday then?" Jungkook smiled, "that must have been fun."

"Umm, yeah it was. I took some beautiful pictures for that trip."

"Oh I wanna see them mom! Can you show them to us?"

"Of course baby." Aila smiled at her daughter.

Brian, however, sat towards the back during this conversation, his heart racing in his chest.

He remembers the call.

He remembers calling her to wish her and her father a happy birthday. He remembers her telling him they were in a cabin at the park.

This is too close.

He needs to figure out a way to get them away from each other.

Vannozzo came beside him, grabbing his hand for comfort.

He could read Brian like the calm of his hand and this, was too stressful. Brian already didn't like the fact they invited all of them into their home. And Brian is right, what made them invite complete strangers into their safe place?

What other explanation then maybe the pull or attraction there might still be towards Aila?

"Let's go so the responsible parents can get ready and we can finally leave for Gwangju!"

The kids cheered at Seokjin's words while the parents groaned.
