Part Fifty

"I know you need to tell me something. Come let's talk."

Aila took a deep breath, "the fact you know this about me is scary. What gave me away?"

"Let's just say I know you." Adrian pulled Aila in his arms, throwing a blanket over the two of them.

Silence fell between them. Aila didn't know how to tell Adrian how she's been feeling.

"It's about them isn't it?" Adrian ran his hands up and down her arms. He's always loved how soft her skin is, "it's ok. Tell me what's going on in that head of yours?"

Aila felt a feeling drown her chest. The only thing she felt was him and her love for him. How had she been so lucky?

"I ah..... I don't know why.... But it feels like something is wrong with them. I don't think they are doing well."

Adrian took a deep breath, already knowing what she wanted to talk about. Ever since they left Korea, he knew it would come down to this. Aila was too good sometimes. She has come far from the Aila he met all those years ago. So he had been mentally preparing for when her heart and mind finally coincided, finally figured out what he already knew was going to happen.

"I don't think they are doing well either. With what you told me about the day you went to talk to them, it must be difficult, specially with a bond between seven people."

Adrian stayed quiet, waiting for Aila to continue. He already knew what she wanted to say, but he needed her to say it. He wanted her to be strong.

"The thing is.... I want to go see them. I know they wanted me to stay with them and I turned them down but that doesn't mean I don't care for them. And something feels off. They have been crossing my mind too much lately."

"If you feel there's something wrong then you need to go check on them. You might not have a bond anymore, but that doesn't mean they weren't your soulmates. They are a part of you. They might be the better parts or the worse parts, but still, they were your soulmates. I would never prohibit you to do something your heart is telling you to do. But baby understand there's so many different types of love. The way you love me, the way you love our kids. The way you love Brian and his soulmates. The way you love our friends. The way you love your family. There are all kinds of love. You can also have love for them."

Aila felt her lip quiver, feeling the love she felt for this man drown her being with his encouraging words.

"I just.... I don't want you to think I'm leaving you or that I'm choosing them over you." Aila's quietly voiced her concern.

"Oh baby," Adrian hugged her tight then proceeded to connect their lips. The kiss was soft, full of love, full of the certainty of their love, "I know you are not choosing them. I know you and I will be together till the end. But if you want to love your soulmates then do it. If you want to have a relationship with them then you should. If they want to get close to us I don't mind it. I'm not going to say I won't get jealous but I trust us."

Aila giggled, "I think you're the most handsome and beautiful man. No one can compare."

Adrian leaned and gave her a quick kiss, "I love you."

"I love you too."

He was watching the boys today.

Hoseok and Yoongi hadn't showed up yet. Jimin was sleeping his hangover, Seokjin was out buying some groceries and both Taehyung and Namjoon were sleeping. Both had stayed up again taking care of the babies during the night.
