Unfortunately, they were never meant to be. From the very beginning of Lilac, they weren't meant to be together. I know the concept of soulmates is something out of fairy tales and the thought of finding such a person is intriguing, but I didn't want to show this. Our minds developed and evolved with the things that happened to us, so even when the perfect person shows up, there's still a chance that's not enough.
Aila already had a chance to accept who they were to her when she found out the truth many years ago but unfortunately for BTS, they are just getting to it.
Even though the story is left off with them working through this moment of their discovery, I'm sure they'll get it through.
Anyways..... thank you for all do those who have read both stories! I appreciate this so much, and I really really really mean it. I hope everyone can understand why the story didn't end up with them being together, honestly it was unrealistic at this point.
I'll start to edit the story soon.....I hope
