***italics means it said in Korean**
Aila didn't mean to take so long to go back to Korea, but it took her one month after having the conversation with Adrian to be able to fly out. She was busy with work and during that time, her anxiety acted out. She didn't know why or the reason, she just knew it had something to do with them.
However, she never reached out to them. She couldn't muster the courage and she hated herself for it. She would stare at Namjoon's contact information, sometimes hours at a time but she didn't call.
Not once.
Still she prepared to go back, taking Iletsi and Ckire, which wasn't a smart choice because of their school. However, Aila couldn't say no to the faces and the excitement they showed once they overheard her and Adrian talking about for how long should she be away for.
With the kids the trip could only be a week. They left Saturday first thing in the morning, not arriving until the next day. They settled in their hotel room and Aila went first thing Monday morning to go see them, alone.
Aila was nervous, but she became worried as she rang their gate and there was no answer. She knew they probably weren't expecting her and they had to get over the shock of seeing her ring their door but when a few seconds turned to minutes, she couldn't help wonder if maybe they were going to refused her visit. Which they had all the right to. They weren't obligated to open the door of their home to her.
She took a deep breath when she realized they weren't coming.
Maybe she just needed to try later? At another time?
She turned away from the gate and began to wonder on the sidewalk.
A few steps in when a hand landed on her shoulder. It made her jump and she quickly turned around, eyes going wide as Namjoon stood there, hair tousled with no shoes, eyes swollen. He looked like he had just woken up.
Both stood there, not moving or saying anything. Both just looked at each other, Namjoon not believing Aila was standing in front of him and Aila not believing one of them had come out to get her.
Aila cleared her throat, "I'm sorry. I....ah...."
Namjoon didnt know what to do, but the need to feel her was overwhelming and he let his thoughts win as he took her in his arms, chest feeling like it was breaking with the realization she's there.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that. Let's go inside." Namjoon quickly let her go and tuned around fast. He wasn't going to jeopardize this opportunity with his emotions going haywire.
Aila quietly followed, smiling at the fact he welcomed her with a hug. Truly, she could break his heart and he would open his arms every single time she decided to come back. That's how she felt. That's how it happened.
She walked in the house, automatically taking her shoes off and was greeted with Jungkook and Taehyung both holding babies. Her chest filled with joy at how precious they looked with their sons.
Maybe she was wrong. Maybe they have moved from her just like how they did the first time.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to just come unexpectedly and uninvited to your home."
All three continued to stare at her, not believing she was standing in front of them.
The baby that Taehyung was holding landed his mouth on Taehyung's face, sucking on the cheek and grabbing onto Taehyung's hair. Aila broke into a huge smile, wanting to laugh at how cute Taehyung looked, at how beautiful he looked holding something so precious.
