Charlie's POV

Dalton woke me up around eight and we got ready for church with some of the guys. We went to brunch and decided to do a trip to Tybee for the afternoon. I got dressed and packed a beach bag.

I put a sun dress on over my swimsuit and we got in Tanner's Jeep. Jayden sat in the front and Dalton and I sat in the back. We met up with Noah, Donny, Jackson, Ryan, Chase, Bill, Lexie, DR, and Dearman. The guys played some football while Jayden and I talked with Lexie.

"So, are you having a graduation party," Lexie asks.

"Yeah, the day after the last game in Nashville. Dalton rented out a pavillion and we're gonna celebrate with everyone," I say.

"That'll be fun. I won't be in Nashville but I'll send something up with Bill."

"Lex, you don't need to do that."

"I want to. Besides, you deserve it."

The boys come back to the blanket and we eat lunch.

"Are you coming to any more games, Char," Donny asks me.

"Not until Vegas most likely. I have finals and some school events, like the Greek life formal and graduation rehearsals. As well as my cousin's wedding the weekend of Tampa. Plus Vegas is the weekend before my birthday."

"That's gonna be a great weekend," Chase says.

"It will be. And then Nashville, we're having my graduation party on the fourth," I say.

"That's right! Do we need to chip in for anything," Tanner asks.

"No. Dalton got the pavillion and my parents are getting the food and decorations."

"But you can if you want," Dalton tells him.

I smack his chest and he laughs.

"No. I don't want anyone paying for it. Dalton's already going overboard with planning a birthday party for me in Vegas. Plus I gotta save up for Jayden's birthday party on June second."

"Even though I said not to do anything," Jayden mumbles into her drink.

"You're my best friend. I'm gonna spoil you."

"Are you ready to graduate," Ryan asks.

"So ready. The stress is ridiculous. I had to do three papers this weekend."

I slump against Dalton and sigh.

"Even work has been kicking my butt. I had to cover some shifts on days I shouldn't have just because of my class schedule."

"Where do you work," Jackson asks.

"Just at the campus store."

We finish lunch and the boys play volleyball. Dalton lies back on the blanket and I put my head on his chest.

"You alright," he asks.

"Yeah, just tired. At least all of my classes are virtual this week."

"That's good. You get to sleep in a little."

"Yeah, a little."

We clean up our stuff and we head back to Savannah.

I finish packing my things and we head to the airport once Jayden is ready. The four of us pile into Dalton's truck and we leave. We get to the airport and we get our things.

"Three more weeks," Dalton says.

"Three weeks. Text me the flight stuff when you get it and I'll pick you guys up," I tell him.

"I will."

We share a kiss and he pulls me in for a hug. Tanner and Jayden share a hug and we head to security. We stop at the Starbucks and we head to our gate. When we land in Nashville, we grab our bags at baggage claim and head out to my car. We head back to my place and Jayden loads her car up to head back to her dorm. I take my bags inside and put them in my room.

"When do you wanna head to the mall," she asks, leaning against the counter when I come back.

"Monday? I only have my morning classes that day."

"Yeah, I'm virtual all day. We can go after your last class."

"Alright. I have a test tomorrow that I need to study for. I'll text you later."

"Bye."

She leaves and I head to my room. I unpack and put my stuff in the laundry. I hang the jump suit in my closet and set the shoes and jewelry that go with it on my dresser. I put a load of laundry in and flop on my bed. I scroll on TikTok and DoorDash some Panda Express for dinner after switching the laundry. I do some school work from this morning and watch a movie while I eat. I finish the laundry and unpack the last few things in my suitcase. I put my suitcase in the closet and my carry-on under my bed. I open some Amazon boxes that came while I was gone and break down the boxes. I text my cousin about the wedding for a bit before getting ready for bed.
