Ch 7- Date

The school year was over, I sat with the trio back to King's cross. 

"So, what will you do after going back home? Any plans?" Hermione was surprisingly the one to ask. 

"Nah"

"No, not really"

"No, but my aunt is visiting...If I can even call her that...."

We looked at him, genuinely worried for if he was OK. 

"Umm Harry...You know that there is always space at my place if you ever wanted to visit or maybe even move over."

"I would love to y/n but right now it's better to go back to the Dursley's..They are the ones signing my consent form. " I looked at him reassuring him that he could always count on us. 

"Uhh y/n...I have read many books about your family...The y/l/n's.....I read what happened to them....Not to be mean, but who else is there to sign the form for you."

"Oh uhh, I'm not going....There's nobody to sign the form for me....Professor McGonagall wont allow." I said dejected. The trio looked at me sympathetically, with Harry having a hint of knowingness and understanding in his eyes. 

I just sat there with a small smile on my face, happy that there are people who care about me. Hermione was about to say something as my complexion started going pale, all of a sudden, the world started spinning and I felt nauseous. I quickly covered my mouth with my hand and rushed to the washroom, leaving the trio worried in our compartment.

'The side effects have started...I hate this...'

I was heading back to the compartment to give them a proper explanation when I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. 

"Hey, are you OK? I saw you running towards the washroom.."

I turned around to look at the unknown person. The voice was clear enough to know it was a male. My mind went blank, nobody had approached me before. I was about to say something when I got cut off by said person,

"Oliver Wood, I believe we have met before." (Pls tell me I'm not the only one who simps for this man)

Time Skip

'Does this shirt look fine...?...'

I was going to meet a few people all the way back at hogsmeade for this winter. They were the ones who asked me so I couldn't say no. The school year would start in a few days so I will apparate back and go by the train. The trio shouldn't know that I know how to apparate. Its very taxing on our body when we first start. The whole break I had been practicing this....They would get worried. 

I took one last look in the mirror and took out my wand. "This is the first time I'm going such a long distance...." I strained a smile on my face and disappeared into thin air. The all known cold but cozy atmosphere greeted me. I stood in front of the shop with had a large sign , "Ollivander's"

I felt someone hugging me from the back and tensed a little as reflex, but then I immediately calmed down as I heard his voice. 

"Miss me, M'lady?"

I had gotten used to the nickname but a light hue of pink always manages to reach me face. 

"Well Mr. Wood, seems you haven't lost the nickname yet."

"Well get used to it, I'm never gonna stop."

I giggled at the response, having heard this so many times. 

"You said that we would meet a few other people here.... May I ask who?"

I asked with a small smile on my face. 

"Well... Would you come if I said I was alone?.." 

"No.... Hogsmeade is really far from my- ....Wait....."

I looked at him in realisation and in that one moment of doubt, he started running away. 

"Heyy!! Wait!!" I screamed and started following him. After a good minute, I still couldn't find him, maybe he was hiding. 

"Well then, if you don't wanna hangout maybe I'll just leave." I said smirking and walking slowly along the path. Just then, I felt someone lift me up and guide me towards the The Three Broomsticks shop. I started giggling knowing my plan worked.

"You are not going anywhere M'lady. After all I was the one who invited you. You leaving will be so sad for me." He said wiping his fake tears away. 

I chuckled at his reaction and gave him a soft punch on his chest grinning. 

"Well, what do you wanna do now...Now that you have stopped running ..?" I said emphasising the last part a bit.

"Since we are already here, wanna get a drink." He said extending his hand to me. 

"Sure..." I took his hand and after a litte pause, continued, "although I'm certain this whole gentleman act is new to you, I think it's quite cute..." I said looking at him straight in chocolate brown eyes. 

" Umm.. tha-thank you" He managed to stutter out as he led me in the shop. It was fairly empty and dimly lit, with a pleasant aroma wafting through the air. 

"Ahh~ fresh bread...."

He looked at me weird but then started laughing and guided me to the table. I couldn't really understand why he was laughing but I soon joined him.

"Your laugh is contagious you know, it made me laugh and I don't even know why."

"What can I say...I am just that charming." 

After a while of chatting, we ordered two butterbeers and settled in with the cozy atmosphere.

"You know, you look really huggable. Especially because that jacket looks really hot.. ..... Hot I MEAN WARMMMM!!!" I screamed shoving my hands into his face as the only few people around gave us weird looks.

"Hehe, calm down M'lady you can touch my face if you want to, you don't have to have an excuse for that."

"Mmph.." I let that out with a small pout on my face.

Oliver pov

"Your laugh is contagious you know, it made me laugh and I don't even know why."

"What can I say...I am just that charming."

So cute.. so oblivious too...openly flirting with me like that.

Y/n pov

 I was about to say something when I heard the door of the shop open interrupting me,

"I see you got yourself a date y/l/n although I'm hurt you didn't ask me."
