As the first rays of the morning sun gracefully filtered through the billowing sheer curtains, casting a gentle glow across the room, Arsh began to stir in his sleep. A dull ache pulsated in his left arm, prompting him to awaken fully. The warmth enveloping his face drew his attention, and upon turning to his left, his breath caught in his throat. There she lay, bathed in the soft radiance of dawn, resembling a celestial being with an otherworldly beauty that captivated him completely. The sight held him spellbound, making it nearly impossible to divert his gaze.

The night prior had unfolded like a dream, a dream he had never dared to imagine. Now, as he observed her nestled in his arms, a grin spread across his face. The surreal moment overwhelmed him; she was exclusively his. The key to a beautiful future. A home he craved. She was everything he secretly wanted.

His fingers traced the contours of her hair, forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, and chin in a gentle, feather-light touch. Something profound had shifted within him the previous night. As he gazed at her, a sense of protectiveness and possessiveness washed over him, coupled with an unfamiliar emotion he couldn't quite pinpoint. Unable to resist, he tightened his embrace, savoring the feeling of having her close.

Suddenly, her wince snapped him out of his reverie. "Ah," she exclaimed, prompting him to release his grip. "A-Arsh, I-I can't breathe."

Concern etched across his face, he bent down to meet her eyes. "Are you okay?"

She nodded, avoiding his gaze. "Let me go." Her cheeks had turned crimson.

His lips curled into a smile while his hand rose to feel the warmth of her rosy cheeks.

"My shy wife," he murmured while his eyes focused on her lips, which were tugged under her teeth.

"Seher," he called her name as his thumb caressed her cheek, and his nose grazed her jaw.

"Mm-hmm," she breathlessly replied.

"You're beautiful," he whispered in her ears, his lips brushing the shell of her ear. "And I love the fact that you're mine." Pulling her lips out of her teeth, he smashed her lips on hers. "Only mine." He mumbled over her lips, and she couldn't help but smile in the kiss as her stomach fluttered with butterflies.

Leaving her lips, as he moved down, Seher pushed him. "A-Arsh," she stuttered. "I need to use the loo."

"Oh," he sighed, loosening his grip reluctantly while taking deep breaths.

She hurled a pillow at his face and swiftly climbed out of the bed. "Don't you dare look," she warned, disappearing into the bathroom.

He waited until he was sure she had shut the door before removing the pillow. A smile tugged at his lips, his heart racing within the confines of his chest. "Seher, sweetheart," he addressed her in his head, rubbing his chest. "I think I'm falling for you."

Observing her enthusiasm for the little things, he couldn't help but be enamored. Her joy over the smallest details, the twinkle in her eyes, became his promise. He vowed never to let that light dim; instead, he would strive to preserve it.

"Arsh."

"Hmm?"

"Look at this," she exclaimed, displaying two coffee mugs adorned with intricate paintings. "This is so beautiful."

"Do you want them?"

She nodded. "One for you and one for me."

Unable to contain his affection, he pulled her into his arms, planting a tender kiss on her head. "Why are you so adorable?"

"Arsh," she gently pulled away, giving him a reprimanding look. Shyness colored her demeanor when it came to public displays of affection. "We are buying these."

"Of course," he chuckled.

She had bought a lot of things, and Arsh had been carrying them around.

As she felt him struggling with the bags, she turned towards him. "Are you alright?"

He nodded.

"Do you want me to help you?" She extended her hands to hold some of the bags.

"Un-uh," he denied.

"But it looks like you could use some help."

"You are right," he winked before leaning towards her ear. "How about you treat me with a proper kiss when we reach our villa?" He wiggled his brows, moving back while she slapped him on his arm, turning completely red.

"I can't believe." She huffed while throwing her hands in the air. "You have become such a shameless person; I can't even recognize you."

"Don't stress," he murmured. "I will make you memorize me by your heart and li--" She didn't let him finish and marched ahead. He fell into steps beside her while glancing at her with a mischievous smile tugged at his lips.

It was their last day in the Maldives, and they spent it shopping. They had crafted countless memories and woven numerous dreams for their future, each moment etched with the promise of love and laughter.
