Five months. It's been five months since Harry and Louis were officially dating and everything was going amazingly well. After their separated Christmas and New Year's celebration and being apart from each other for seven days they spent every possible second together to make up for the lost time and during those days Louis noticed how much positive impact Harry had on his life by now after he got to know about everything and was so cautious and attentive around him to not make a mistake again.

Harry on the other hand realised that his love for him went far beyond his wildest imaginations. He knew he loved him a lot before already, but he almost went crazy not being close to him for such a long time and he couldn't imagine a life without him anymore driving his mother crazy who had to force him to participate in family activities and not being clued to his phone or crying her ear off that he missed him. It felt ridiculous seeing they weren't a couple for that long to have such strong feelings, but their past had a huge impact on that and their relationship hasn't been normal at all from the beginning so their love wasn't either.

For Harry's birthday two months ago they went to a spa hotel in the mountains, the landscape around them coated in snow and their favourite part of each day was when they came back from hiking or sightseeing or spending time in the spa and went to their jaccuzi on the blacony that faced a wall of mountains where the moon made the snow glisten like the purest diamonds. They just sat there and talked while sipping on a ridiculously expensive champagne, sometimes they were quiet and just enjoyed the breathtakingly beautiful view ahead of them and once they even made love in there.
Since those few days everything changed even more.

Louis was genuinely happy for the first time in a while and he barely troubled himself with negative thoughts, not having room for such ones when his mind was clouded with happiness and his heart full of love. He started to eat more, partly because Harry covinced him to go to the gym together knowing exactly he could trick his mind with that and it worked. They started to cook together each time one was over at the other's and they started doing more things outside of their homes like visiting new places. Louis didn't need his sleeping pills once when Harry was over so they tried to get a good balance in sleeping together and apart not wanting to be too dependent of each other. Despite Louis' fear of Harry being hesitant or ashamed whenever they were outside together Harry was the complete opposite. He was practically glued to him no matter if they were walking around, sitting somewhere or driving in the car.

But they weren't the only ones who changed, they tried to spend a lot of time with their friends, the relationships getting better with each time as well, but Niall proposed to Naomi a few weeks ago and they started planning their wedding. Zayn and Liam were on a good way of finding their happiness again and it got serious between Mallory and Sean as well after a few problems in the beginning when Sean was jealous of Louis, but Mallory had made it clear to him that there was nothing between them anymore, but that he should be aware she'd always have a tight bond with him and he'd always be her first priority no matter who came along and eventually he accepted it. Madison cared less about her parents and everything around them when she got older, puberty hit hard within just a few months and Louis and Mallory had a hard time accepting that she wouldn't be their little girl anymore soon.

Everything went amazing, there was only one thing that bothered Harry.

"-I had to show him something and then I leaned over his desk, right?" Sheila explained excitedly and with glistening eyes looking at Elizabeth from the human resources department who was glued to her lips suppressing a squeal in excitement, a few others were in hearing range as well. "And I had a feeling he was leaning in as well, you know? I wanted to keep it professional for now so I didn't get into it too much, but I think there's some chemistry in the air."
