"What even are you now?" Liam piped in when Harry was just telling him about his breakfast with Louis this morning.

He just came home from the brunch they had- their probably seventh date in the last three weeks- when he found Liam sitting at the table eating cereal and drinking coffee, Zayn was still sleeping as usual on the weekend. Before sitting down he made himself a coffee as well in hopes to warm up his body from the icy temperatures outside since it started to snow three days ago and the tiny white flakes didn't seem to stop falling from the dreary sky any time soon.

"I don't know." Harry sighed and fiddled with the handle of his mug.

"What's that supposed to mean? You had like a hundred dates already, yet you don't know what you are?" Liam asked uncomprehendingly.

"Yes, exactly!" Harry snapped, followed by another sigh. "Sorry. I don't know, it's frustrating me, but Louis wants to take it slow and I respect that. It just didn't came up, but I think it's like a relationship. Almost."

"Almost?" Liam asked.

"Yeah...I mean, every time we're kissing it's so cautious and...I don't know. As if it's the first time, you know? He's a lot more relaxed by now when we're talking, but eith everything else, when it comes to getting closer or talking about deep stuff he's still a bit hesitant." Harry shrugged with a crease on his forehead.

"You sound like you have a problem with it." Liam observed.

"No, I-" Harry paused and exhaled through his nose in defeat. "Maybe. I don't know. I just want him to be comfortable around me."

"I'm sure he is. But it takes time for him to get over everything and getting used to it. Give him that time and help him as good as you can." Liam suggested with an encouraging smile. "Don't mess it up again. Please. Not because of something like this. You will get to a point where he can be entirely himself around you, but give it time."

"I know." Harry smiled slightly. "But...there's something else..."

"And what would that be?" Liam asked.

"You said it yourself, we're kinda dating already...and all we do is kissing. Not even making out really, just...yeah..." Harry complained.

"Are you serious right now?" Liam asked indignantly when he got what Harry was trying to tell him.

"Fuck, I'm also just a man! And it's not like we didn't...you know...already." Harry defended himself.

"You're joking!" Liam huffed. "Should I remind you what you did right after the last time and what you caused with that? And now you're complaining that you didn't have sex yet? Did you hit your head somewhere?"

"What does one thing have to do with the other?" Harry exclaimed.

"Are you fucking dumb?" Liam asked with a wild look on his face. "He doesn't trust you, especially not in this case! How can you even think of him exposing himself this soon again after everything?"

"Okay..." Harry mumbled and held his hands up in defeat. "I get your point, okay? All I'm saying is that it's frustrating me because I'm so drawn to him and I can't...I want him." He whined.

"Keep your feet still and and take care of the emotional side of your relationship first and not the physical one." Liam huffed. "You can't do anything about it anyway."

"Maybe I could..." Harry murmured quietly, but Liam heard anyway and shot him a glare.

To his misfortune Zayn heard as well who appeared in the kitchen now, not even knowing what was going on, but still having a comment at hand as always.
