"We have to get up." Harry murmured after he turned off the fifth alarm, sleep was still lacing his voice.
"Mhm." Louis hummed against his skin and tightened his arm around him to pull him impossibly closer against his chest that fit perfectly with his back, their legs bent and tangled together under the crumpled duvet.
"I'm serious." Harry muttered and kissed the skin on his arm that was in reaching range. "You have a meeting in a little over an hour and I have to book the hotel for your business trip next week."
Louis simply grumbled something incomprehensible, not yet having managed to open his eyes and he didn't intend on doing so within the next five minutes. He didn't move at all when Harry turned in his arms and poked his eyelid.
"Ow." He mumbled unfazed.
"Wake up." Harry demanded.
"Two minutes." Louis sighed and pulled him close burying his face in the crook of his neck.
"Babe, you know if I give in we won't get up at all." Harry reminded and Louis hummed.
"Can do the meeting online." He argued tiredly.
"Over Teams? Naked? From your bed?" Harry asked disbelievingly and felt how Louis' lips curled into a smile against his skin.
"Can throw a button up over."
"Get up." Harry just said.
Usually he would be the one demanding to stay in bed longer, but since he was officially Louis' assistant he didn't want to make a mistake and prove that he could be more than just his boyfriend so he took his job very seriously.
"Fine!" Louis groaned and let go of Harry to throw the duvet off him eventually opening his eyes only to look at Harry expectantly. "Do I have time for a shower?"
"If you hurry up, yes." Harry grinned and pursed his lips, giggling when Louis groaned. "Your own fault, could've gone showering last night like me."
"Leave me alone, I was tired." Louis grumbled as he pressed a quick kiss to his lips before he rolled to the side of the bed and got up trudging in the bathroom. "Always this stress in the early morning."
Once they were both done and dressed for the day they went downstairs, Harry instantly went over to the coffee machine and turned it on while Louis grabbed the documents he took with him yesterday to work some more from home in the evening before Harry came over from his office.
"Morning, Harry." Madison chirped when she strolled into the kitchen with her backpack over her shoulders and let it plop down on the floor before she took a seat at the table.
"Morning, Maddie." Harry smiled abstinently. "Do you want cereal or toast?"
"Cereal." Madison grinned. "Where's dad?"
"Here." Louis announced before Harry could reply and rounded the corner, greeting her with a kiss to her head. "Good morning, darling."
"Morning. Can you sign that?" Madison asked and rummaged through her backpack.
"What's that?" Louis grabbed the paper and read through it, shooting Harry a quick smile when he placed his coffee in front of him. "A trip to France?"
"Yes. Student exchange, that's what out class teacher told you at the conference two weeks ago." Madison explained and grinned at Harry widely when he placed a bowl with cereal in front of her.
"Right." Louis said with a frown, faintly remembering said conference where he was bored out of his mind and almost fell asleep when his head was already hammering from a long day at work and Mallory had to kick him four times under the table so he paid attention. "And mum's alright with it?"
