Chapter Eight: I'm not me

I stared at them and clenched the door hand tightly, that's why Ponyboy would not talk to me. Angela made him that's why he ran out of the room. It all makes sense Angela and Ponyboy are dating and she was jealous that he was spending more time with me then her. I took one more look at them sucking faces and got out of the car and started off down the street. Angela used me, I should have listened to Dallas.
I made it all the way to the lot, I stopped when I saw Johnny siting alone. I walked over to him "Hey Jesse you finally out? And your hair! What's wrong you look upset?". I sat down next to him, I sighed "I have a bald spot from the stitches so I cut it. But I just found out that Angela turned Ponyboy on me so now he hates me..". Johnny looked at me and hugged me "Jesse it's okay, she is just a evil bitch that will be done with Pony in a week or so.". Johnny was like another brother to me, "But Johnny what if he hates me forever?" He stroked my hair gently, "He won't. He does not stop talking about you, it was pretty annoying. But it stoped when he met that witch." He said with a small smirk. Know that almost relaxed me.
Out of my corner of my eye I saw Ponyboy and bitch face walking over "Shoot me now.." I whispered under my breatheto Johnny rolling my eyes. "Oh Jesse I see your feeling better." Angela said with a fake smile. "Bit me Angela." I said getting up and staring to walk away. "That's no way to talk to your only friend. " Angela said running in front of me. "Well Angela a real friend doesn't use them then has everyone turn on them. I should have listen to Dal you're a good for nothing Shepherd. " I said starting at her.
"How dare you talk to me like that!" Angela said taking a swing at me. "Aww you're not use to someone telling you the truth? And honey don't try to swing at me again" I looked at her and smiled. She swung again and   I punched her straight in the nose making her fall to the ground. I sat on top of her and pulled out my blade and held it to her throat "You really think you're all big and bad don't ya'? But honey you're far from that. You have to be careful on who you try and fight cause they might pull a blade." Ponyboy and Jonny stood back in shock. Angela knocks my blade out of hand and claws at my face. I start hitting her again. At the point Pony tried to pull me off of her but I end up hitting him by accident.
Next thing I know Dally comes running and pulls me off of her I spat on her as he dragged me away "You better watch out next time Bitch." Angela's face was bleeding and she was crying, I was happy. "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ALL ABOUT JESSE!!" Dally said pulling me away from her and the lot. "She stared shit and I tried to hold in my anger but she swung at me so I pulled my blade and she knocked it out of my hand and then you showed up " I said wiping the blood off my hands and looking around for my blade. Dally was furious "Jesse you can't go beating her up like that! She's with Pony now so you  just get over it.  I can see your jealousy when you saw them kissing". I clenched my fist "Oh yeah I just have to suck it up and that her spread rumors about me? Hell this is the reason why I only have guys friends cause girls like her start drama. If I wanted to get in this much trouble I should have just stayed in New York!"
Ponyboy came running up to me "What the fuck Jesse? Just go back to New York you're clearly not wanted here!". I was in shock that Ponyboy of all people would say something like that. I looked at him "Ponyboy if you didn't have Angela so far up your ass maybe you would see that she is a manipulating and is using you to get at her ex!". Pony's jaw dropped "Jesse you're so fake! You should just go die in a ditch or disappear! I regret ever saving you from those socs three weeks ago and spending ever second with you in the hospital!"
Dally grabbed Ponyboy by his collar "DON'T YOU EVER TALK TO MY SISTER LIKE THAT YOU LITTLE SHIT". Ponyboy had a scared look on his face but didn't say anything. Dally put him down and Ponyboy ran like lighting down the street. "I never want to see that prick again. I should go back home.." I said trying not to cry. Dally put his arm around me "It's okay Jess. But I want you here and you're some how safer here than New York.  I know you don't want to go to t he Curtiss's house but everyone else wants to see you and your short hair." I sighed turning around and walking to the house "Fine let's go."
This time when I reached the house Tim Shepherd came storming out "What the fuck Jesse? Angela is crying and bleeding because of you!". "Tim leave her alone you know your sister starts shit with people and Jesse put in her place." Dally said defending me. Tim gave him a look and walked back in, Dally and I followed him inside. "Jesse your okay!!!" Two-Bit yelled  giving me a hug. "Hey did you really do that to Angela" Steve whispered in my ear, I nodded. Angela stoped crying and walked over to me "Can't you leave me alone?". "You really won't to do this again? Didn't you learn the first time?" I looked at her almost shocked that she wants to go round two.
The bitch threw a punch and hit me in the face. My eyes turned red filled with anger and I snapped  "YOUR DEAD YOU TRAMP!". I gave her two right hooks to the jaw and one left hook to her stomach. I kneed her in the face three times, then Dally and Darry had to hold me back or I would kept going "You're lucky I don't have my blade!"
Everyone stood there in shock from what just happend. "Jesse you-" Ponyboy stopped mid sentence as Dal stared at him. "Tim I think you should take Angela home, and Jesse go in the bathroom and calm down. " Darry said letting go of me I walked by Angela a raised my fist and She flinched. I smirked and walked into the bathroom. What am I turning into? This is not the Jesse Marie Winston I know. I don't go beating someone up and laugh about it. I do fight for a lot of reasons but over a boy is a first. I washed the blood off and looked into the mirror I'm turning into a monster. I took a deep breath and splashed my face with water and walked back out.
"What was that all about?" Steve asked while taking a bit of chocolate cake "Yeah Jesse what was that all about?" Ponyboy piped in while he crosses his arms across his chest. "Fist of all Ponyboy I'm not going to talk to you because you hate me. Secondly someone has to put her in her place and bag person I guess had to be me because nobody else has the guts to go it.". Ponyboy's jaw dropped "I don't hate you.. I jus-". I cut him off "Oh yeah you don't hate me? Then why did you say you regret helping me and staying by my side at the hospital?" I said crossing my arms against my chest. "Jesse I only said that because-" I cut Ponyboy off again "Because of Angela. Yeah that's what you were going to say, because of Angela. That's what they all say". I use the same words he said to me in the his. Ponyboy looked in my eyes "Jesse it's true, she told me to hate you or she will breakup with me and she was the first girl to want to date me. And when she told me about how you only asked me out to have me date her I was hurt.". I broke away from his cute eyes staring at me "You should figure out what you want Ponyboy But I the mean time I will take your advise and go die in a ditch." I said walking out the door.
