"Wow, that was honestly unexpected." Those were the only words that came out of my mouth. I mean, Abby is very kind but she was the least person I expected while I was thinking. To be completely honest, I didn't even think of her as an option. I just don't see something in them that would make me think about them. I just always see Larissa and Abby arguing with each other. It makes me feel stupid and a bit weird that I used Abby as a reason to make Larissa jealous.
Damn.
"It's all from the past. I literally forgot what exactly I felt for her back then." She shakes her head while telling me.
"You were inlove with her for how long?"
She sighs, "Aya, why are you asking all about this?" Larissa asked curiously with a bit of sarcasm.
"I really want to know you better." I said sincerely. I felt that she was uncomfortable so I told her the truth.
"You can't just know me personally by asking me about my first love. It's stupid." Now, she's irritated. I still don't regret asking, although I got silent immediately.
She looked at me. I think she realized that she bursted out a bit. I don't understand why I still get frightened when she says something that is unpleasant to my ear.
She held her forehead due to stress, "I just don't want to talk about the past. It happened. It's done."
"I'm sorry"
"All I remember is that she was wonderful experience. She was my everything. I just didn't have courage to tell her because I was comply focused on my goal. That's it." She tried to explain in the most calmest way eventhough I snapped her mood.
"Okay. Sorry. That was my last question. I'll shut up now, please cool yourself down."
I was stunned when she suddenly pecked a kiss.
"I'm cool now." Her voice became soft and airy.
I felt that she moved her body more closer to mine. I can now feel her warm breathe flowing on my hair."By the way.." I initiated a topic again.
"Hmm?"
"Our research professor, Ms. Stark, said that we should start doing our paper by now. We were grouped into five-"
"Uh-huh..." she seemed so interested.
"And then she gave us time to talk about our paper. Our group decided to have a sleepover. We all agreed so-"
"Did I hear that right?" She cuts me off.
"Uhh, yeah. A sleepover. But it's just purely a research thing, I swear!" I pleaded. I really wanted to go because I'm so excited to know my blockmates more. "So now...I'm asking for your permission." I moved back a bit so I could see her facial expressions.
"You're not asking for permission because you already agreed to that stupid sleepover." She says. Now I'm getting frightened because of her response. I didn't expect her to react like this since it's a school thing? She always motivates me when it comes to academics so what's with her now? Honestly, her mood swings are so active during this time. I wonder why...
"That wasn't the response that I'm expecting from you."
She softly gasped, "What do you expect me to say? Have fun and be safe, my darling?!" She never become this sarcastic. "Does Stark even know about your plan? Because if she knows, a lot of papers would run to your higher office before she agrees."
