A few days later , we received a letter from Rhaenyra. She announced the death of Ser Laenor, her marriage to Prince Daemon, and that they have settled into her home in Dragonstone. Father wasn't pleased when he had heard this. He had taken his anger out on everyone through yells and arguments.

We had all continued on with our lessons. Father and mother had meetings with the court of my bleed. Who all four of us should wed when we come of age and so on and so forth. Thankfully, the news had come that I was not chosen to marry Aegon. That pleasure was given to Heleana.

Visenya- aged 11

My handmaiden tied the laces of my dress. The red dress my mother had picked out for me to wear to my brother and sisters wedding. My long white hair was braided stylishly as my mother came into my room with a smile. " You look beautiful, Visenya." " Thank you, mother.". " Come, you and I will help Heleana finish preparing for her wedding.".

Mother and I helped Heleana into her long white dress and braided her hair, I even placed flowers she had picked into her hair as I knew flowers sometimes helped her calm down when she was anxious. " You look beautiful, Heleana.". " Thank you," she said with a straight face. She really didn't want to marry Aegon. " Do I have to do this?" Heleana asked mother." You do, " Heleana nodded. The heartbreak in her eyes was as clear as day.

" Mother, I don't wish for Heleana to feel like this. I'll wed Aegon for her.". " No, Visenya, the court has approved of this wedding. We can't change it.". " Mother, Heleana clearly isn't comfortable marrying Aegon. Please don't do this to her.". " Visenya, she is nervous. It happens to every woman on her wedding day. Heleana will be fine once it's over.".

I stood next to Aemond during the ceremony, Heleana and Aegon both looked super uncomfortable and unhappy, but because of their titles, they felt that pressure to agree to the marriage.

During the feast was worse, Aegon was drinking more wine than I had ever seen him drink until Mother had cut him off so he wouldn't make a fool of himself. All of the guests were cheerful and seemed to enjoy their night. However, nobody at the Royal table felt it. Heleana and Aegons eyes fell when the bedding ceremony was announced. I could see Aegon quietly arguing with Mother about it, obviously not wanting to do this to his sister, but they had no choice. Aegon slowly took Heleanas hand and left the throne room with her, the maester following after them to watch them consumate their marriage.

I turned to Aemond, my heart bleeding for my siblings. " I can't watch this," I sighed, hiding my head in his neck. His large hand rubbed my shoulder. " It's alright, Visenya, the same won't happen to you.".

As the days turned to weeks and the weeks to months and the months to years Heleana had given birth to twins, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera a beautiful girl and boy. Aegon had become a worse drunk while Aemond and I continued on with our studying in history, philosophy, and our training with swords.

We had used all our free time to train and study together. Aemond and I never left each others side since our siblings' wedding. We had grown super close over the years. The more time we spent together, the more deeply we felt for one another, we had felt this spark between us but had never done anything about it for years.

Ser Criston had trained Aemond and I together for years now. We were always sparing partners as our skills with our swords were about the same. Of course, Aemond, being a man, had the advantage of more strength, but I could be quicker on my feet.

Aemond and I were sparing in the training grounds as usual. The fight had become intense and had drawn a crowd of people as Ser Criston kept an eye on us. Aemond had managed to knock me off my feet, landing on my back as he held his sword to my neck.
