"Prim, can I talk to you?" Peeta asked as soon as Katniss left to hunt. "I want to marry Katniss." He said, sitting down at the table next to me. I looked up from my homework to look at him. He seemed nervous, but wasn't showing it. "Yeah. How are you gonna do it?" He smiled and started to explain a date, in a nice spot and then just randomly ask. He then pulled out the ring he bought. It was a simple gold ring. "I think she'll love it." I hugged him, and he hugged me back. Now Peeta will officially be my brother.
A few days later, the two come back from their date late at night. "We're back Prim!" Katniss yelled, than ran upstairs. Peeta sat in the chair near the couch and put his head in his hands. "Did she say no?" I asked, getting nervous. "Yes. I mean, no. Wait, she said yes to the proposal." I laughed at his rambling. "So what's the problem?" He sighed. "Katniss thought since we're going to get married, we have to have children. I mean, that's what I want, but I know she doesn't and that's okay. It led to an argument."
I looked up the stairs before saying, "Do you want me to talk to her?" He nodded and I ran upstairs. I knocked on Katniss' door and went in, seeing her hiding under the covers. "What's wrong?" I askdd, and she peeked her head up. "Nothing." She said solely. "I know when something is up Katniss."
"Fine, I don't want kids but Peeta does. And I said I wouldn't be able to give him what he wants." She stated, her eyes starting to water a bit. "Okay. You're not even married yet. You can wait a bit. You don't need to know right away." I said, and hugged her. "Thanks Prim."
One week later, I was helping Peeta adress letters. One to everyone, everyone who they're telling about their engagement. It's only a select few, but to write them, adress them, and work at the sane time is hard.
I know its short but i just wanted this and i couldnt think what to put with it so we have a small filler
