A bright light caught my view as it propelled me towards it. I walked in its direction and saw a silhouette of two persons, standing a little far. I moved a little closer and both of them turned together. I gasped and tears formed in my eyes and I struggled to call them.
"Mom, dad" I choked onto a sob while calling them,
They smile and forwarded their hands, beckoning me to come over. I ran to go over their side but halted when a dark light approached their way as if to engulf them. I shouted over and signaled them to move away but it was too late, as they disappeared behind the darkness.
I jerked up and opened my eyes and found myself in a completely different atmosphere. The white ceiling at the top was my first view then I looked around to find myself in a ward-room. Then I relived the cause, as all the last occurred events came into my mind and I slumped back on the bed, from the rising headache. I tried to move my hand to smooth out my hair but a pull stopped me from moving. I glanced down to right and found Taehyung sleeping with his head lying on my bed as he sat on a stool next to my bed. His hand holding my head tightly and used it as head support.
I felt overwhelmed and ruffled his hair with my other hand. His injuries from that accident were still visible, as few scratches stood out on his pale arm and a bandage covering his forehead. I traced it with my finger. The touch on his forehead made him awake, as he blinked a few times and stood straight after leaving my hand. He looked my way, then his eyes widened after finding me awake.
He quickly hugged me and pecked me on the forehead before murmuring in my ear, "Thank god, you are fine,"
I hugged him back, relishing into his embrace, and felt his warmth growing inside me. He pulled back and stared at my face intensely.
"You are fine right?" he asked,
"Ya, just a slight headache, maybe a concussion" I told him,
There was a dull pain on back of my forehead and just exhaustion. I wanted to ask Taehyung about Roberto but didn't wanted to break this precious moment too. I felt nervous as if we were meeting after ages and in a sense we did.
"I still can't believe it's you," he whispered, resting his forehead over mine as I closed my eyes.
I also couldn't believe that all this time I was living a fake life under a fake identity.
Taehyung suddenly chuckled and I looked at him confusingly.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked him,
He shook his head but still, a big smile was permanent on his face, "Nothing, it's just weirder now to think that you mistook Junhee and me for a couple,"
My cheeks burned as I looked away shyly. It wasn't my fault, it was Junghyun whose words were manipulative.
"What's so weird about it?" I asked him with a pout,
"I don't know if you remember but my last promise to a six-year-old Jungkook, was to protect her siblings," he said and pinched my cheek, "And also they were like my brother and sister too. They still are,"
I smiled and pecked on his cheeks, "Thank you for keeping your promise, so well," I thanked him.
Taehyung leaned forward and whispered, "Just a kiss on cheek won't do. I need a bigger thanks,"
I felt nervous, "What do you mean?"
He didn't answer and just leaned a little more, closing the distance between us. Goosebumps flowed in my veins, as his lips captured mine in a sweet and tender kiss. He held my face gently, tilting his face a little to deepen the kiss. I clutched onto his shirt tightly, as my head swayed from the indescribable sensations I felt from the touch of his lips over mine. We heard someone coughing and quickly broke apart.
