𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭. breathing patterns were needed. she needed it. madison curled her hair as she did her makeup. simple but good enough for prom. she was stressing our way to much. rowan was going to be there in ten minutes. she had ten minutes to finish up.
her, rowan, madison and the girls date were going to go out to dinner before driving over to the docks. they were having prom on a boat. a big one even. the school rented it out for them. emerson dress fell down to the floor even with her heels being on.
she sprayed setting spray all over her face before watching as madison finished up a few more pieces. emerson slipped on a few more rings before grabbing her necklace. she unclipped the thing as madison muttered the words " done " out of her mouth. emerson thanked her before looking down at the necklace in her hands.
she looked at it for what felt like hours but was only a few seconds before she placed it back down on the desk. she couldn't wear that one. not when she was with another guy that night. it wouldn't be right.
