"Got his neck broke." Daryl said as he examined Randalls body.
He rolled him over checking his back, legs, and arms. "He's got no bites."
"Yeah, none you can see." Glenn said bending over beside Daryl.
Daryl shook his head, "Nah, I'm tellin' you he died from this." He gestured towards his neck.
"How is that possible?" I asked from beside Glenn.
Daryl looked at me in silence, none of us knew how Randall became a walker if he wasn't bit. It didn't make any sense. Daryl stood up grabbing his arrow out of the tree.
"Come on." he grunted as he started walking back to the farm house with Glenn and I following behind him.
When we were spitting distance away from the the house, we heard a gunshot followed by another gunshot.
"What was that?!" Glenn asked franticly.
"I have a bad feeling." I said as we walked up the front steps.
"Rick and Shane ain't back?" Daryl asked as we walked through the screen door.
"No." Lori answered from her spot on the couch.
"We heard a shot."
"Maybe they found Randall." Lori guessed.
"No, we did." I said standing beside Glenn.
"Is he back in the shed?" Maggie asked from beside Beth.
"He's a walker." Daryl said to Maggie
"Did you find the walker that bit him?" Hershel asked with his hands in his pants pockets.
Glenn shook his head, "No, the weird thing is he wasn't bit."
"His neck was broke." Daryl added. "The thing is, Shane and Randall's tracks were right on top of each other. And Shane aint no tracker, So he didn't come up behind him. They were together."
"Would you please get back out there, find Rick and Shane." Lori walked right up to Daryl, "and find out what on earth is going on?" She begged.
"You got it." Daryl strode towards the screen door.
I sighed, running my hand through my hair, stress and worry over taking me.
"He'll be okay." Glenn whispered from beside me.
I looked over at him, confusion on my face, but I nodded anyways, "I know he will be."
"Oh my god." I heard Andrea say under her breath as she followed Daryl outside.
I walked out the screen door with Glenn behind me. In the field across from the house were hundreds of walkers making their way towards the house.
I felt my knees buckle, "You've gotta be shitting me." I whispered.
"Patricia kill the lights." Hershel whispered.
"I'll get the guns." Andrea said as she disappears into the house.
"Maybe they're just passing, like the herd on the highway. Should we just go inside?" Glenn asked the group.
"Not unless there's a tunnel downstairs I don't know about. A herd that size would rip the house down." Daryl told Glenn.
"So we leave?" I asked.
"Carl's gone." Lori came outside frantic.
"What?"
"He-he was upstairs. I can't find him anymore." Lori said panicking.
"Maybe he's hiding." Glenn tried to comfort her.
