"Okay, so when do we do this?" I chewed on the inside of my cheek, anxious about the whole thing.
"We do this in two days. We don't have time to wait any longer than that." Rick looked at Deanna, "You got a map?"
Deanna nodded, leaving to her office and returning with a folded up map.
Rick displaced the unfolded map out onto a table. He pointed onto the map. "Marshall and Redding. We force them west here."
"How?" Deanna asked.
"We block it off so they can only go one way, west, away from the community."
"Block it off with what?" Carter asked.
"Cars." I answered, Rick nodding in agreement. "We can use the RVs, some of the bigger trucks, park them end to end."
"We'll be drawing them away." Michonne looked up to Carter, "They're gonna keep moving."
"Yeah, but that many? Just bouncing off some sedans?" Carter's skepticism showing. "And then when they start slipping through and the ones that walk away start distracting the rest and you stop drawing them away?"
"We got plates." Eugene spoke up, stepping forward. "The big ass metal ones from the construction site. We can use them to fortify the whip wall. It'd help disperse the force of impact and direct the walkers clean. Like a pool table. Eight ball, corner pocket."
"That's an army out there." Carter raised his arm, pointing over his shoulder. "And what happens when this doesn't hold?" He pointed his finger down onto the map dragging his finger. "And they push on through. The curve in this hillside is gonna send them right back east. Right back here. You seriously want to risk that?"
"No." Rick responded, "So you need to help us to make it hold."
"These walls, you built them. So you've already done the impossible." Morgan shrugged his shoulder.
"Fine." Carter shook his head in defeat.
"Then it's settled." Rick nodded to everyone, "We'll get this started today, do a dry run tomorrow, then the real thing. Got it?"
Everyone nodded in agreement.
Rick grabbed my arm lightly, pulling me away from the rest of the group. "Listen, I know you not being out there is botherin' you. But I need you here makin' sure everythin' is okay."
I nodded, "I know. I made a promise to Daryl, and I was going to go check on Tara anyways. I heard she's awake and I don't think she knows about Noah.." I trailed off.
He signed, placing his hand on my shoulder in a comforting way before he departed.

"We should be back before dark." Daryl hooked his crossbow into place on his bike.
Yesterday they had spent all day out there, setting everything up. When they came back, some people were not thrilled with Rick and his theatrics. Apparently, he had thrown them into killing walkers too soon, nearly getting some of them killed before Morgan stepped in.
I gave a small smile before nodding, "Okay." I said quietly.
He studied my body language, knowing that I was nervous as hell. He grabbed my arms pulling me into his chest. He placed his lips onto mine as he moved one of his hands to cup my face, "I'll be back. I promise." He whispered as we pulled away from each other.
"You already know what I'm going to say." I smiled as I watched him climb onto his bike.
"Doesn't hurt to hear it." He smirked.
