Carol pulled out two pistols from her bag, "Take your pick."

"Look, I've been thinkin'." He pointed to the guns that Carol was holding, "Do we really need these? I mean, things go bad, yeah, sure. We do what we gotta do, but it's like you said. We don't need these for that."

"Right now we don't." Carol said.

"You wanted me to try, right?" Daryl shrugged, "I'm good."

I watched as Rick grabbed one of the guns, placing it in his waistband. Carol looked to me, and I shook my head. "I'm good, too."

"You got anythin' planned for today?" Daryl asked me as we made our way back to Alexandria.

"Just going on a run with Noah, Tara, Glenn, and Eugene." I said.

"Eugene?" He questioned.

"Yeah, he knows what we need. Aiden doesn't want to come back with the wrong shit." I said as the girl watching the gate opened it for us. Carol and Rick went in separate directions while Daryl and I stood together down the street.

"Do you have anything planned?" I asked the question back to him.

"Goin' out with Aaron. Hopefully bringin' some people back."  He adjusted his crossbow in his shoulder, before pulling me into his chest. "Be careful, alright?"

I took in a deep breath, "Always am." I mumbled into his chest as he kissed the top of my head.

"You got everything?" Reg asked Aiden.

"First aid kits, yellow pages. Glenn made a checklist. We're good, I swear." Aiden responded. "Day light's burning. Lets go."

I tossed my bag into the van, before climbing in taking a seat next to Noah. Immediately upon shutting the doors, Aiden and Nicholas were already blasting music.

"Helps draw them away." Glenn shrugged.

The ride was silent, but I noticed Noah writing in a leather notebook. "Whatcha writing there?" I bumped his shoulder teasingly.

"The beginning to a new start." Noah smiled a bit, "Reg said he'd teach me how to build things. Gave me this notebook to write everything down."

For the first time since meeting Noah, I could see a glimmer of hope. He saw a future here, and that was something you just couldn't give to anyone.

The doors flew open once we were at our destination, Aiden pulling the van to a stop.

"That's it there?" Tara asked, holding her gun.

"That's the warehouse." Aiden said, "Looks like that door is our fastest way in and out."

"I think we should know all the exits first." I intervened, "Just incase shit goes south."

"Already got one." Nicholas responded with a smirk, "It's called going out the front."

I glanced over to Glenn, who was already giving me the same distasteful look.

"Noah, heads up." Tara said as she looked over her shoulder to see a walker staggering its way to us.

"Got it." Noah raised his gun, and took it out with one bullet.

"Look at you with the aim." Aiden handed a rifle to Noah before grabbing one for himself, "Jordyn's right. We should do a perimeter check. Know out exits just in case."

We all split into 3 groups. I went with Glenn, and Noah, to check the left side of the building. When we reached the front we soon saw that there was so way we could get out the front exit as there were about a hundred walkers trapped inside the fenced in area near the front door.
