"You met with her?"

Glenn and I were sitting on the porch, waiting for Maggie to come back from talking to Deanna to see what this meeting was about and if it had anything to do with Rick.

"Yeah." She answered.

"So what is it?" I squinted my eyes up at her.

"It's what we thought." She sighed heavily, "I'm gonna talk to people. I'll talk to everyone I can right up until. I'm gonna try to solve this. We're gonna work it out." She reached out to Glenn, "I'll see you there."

"What are we going to do, Glenn." I asked.

"I don't know.. I mean Rick told us a plan, but.. Glenn trailed off.

I stood up from the porch, "I'm gonna go talk to Deanna. Try and see if I can't get through to her."

"You really think that's going to work?" Glenn's face was doubtful.

"I don't know. But we have to try. We need this. Carl and Judith need this. They should be able to grow up in a community, not out there. For Noah, remember?"

Glenn nodded in agreement, saddened by the mention of Noahs name.

"I'll see you tonight."

"Jordyn." Deanna answered the door, "How can I help you?"

"I wanted to know if I could speak to you. About Rick." I said, "May I come in?"

She hesitated, but reluctantly let me in anyways. "Make it quick." She said as she shut the door.

"Look, if you send Rick out, that would be a mistake."

"How so?" She questioned.

"Rick has saved us, time and time again. Risked his life to protect us. Rick is what keeps this whole group together. This place needs him. The people here need someone who will look after them like they are their own. He's that someone, Deanna."

"Rick took a gun and he pointed it at people."

"He didn't pull the trigger." I shook my head.

"That's a metric? That he didn't pull the trigger?" She sounded astonished.

I nodded, "You don't know what we've seen out there. What we've had to deal with..."

"Michonne stopped him, Deanna." Reg stepped in, "Michonne did."

She shook her head, "I'm gonna do what I have to do, Jordyn."

Deanna reached for the door, "Thank you for stopping by."

I sighed, shaking my head before exiting her home. I was so frustrated I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, until my ass met the ground.

A man, carrying a box full of canned goods was also on the ground.

"I am so sorry! Are you okay?" I asked completely embarrassed.

"I'm fine." He sat up, "Though these cans might not be." He picked one up to show the newly made dent in the can.

"Here, let me help." I started picking up some cans and placing them back in the box.
