Chapter 2

"Ugh, it's unfair! You used your alpha power." Taehyung snickered and looked at Jungkook when Jungkook hissed in annoyance while glancing down at the sword pressed closer against his neck.

"If I used the alpha power, you wouldn't even be able to use that sword against me. And it's not cheating like you say.. it's the result of long training." Taehyung pointed out, plump lips curving into a smug smile as he drew his sword away and backed away from Jungkook.

"Wait and see.. I'll beat you one day!" Jungkook roared in rage, gaining everyone's attention and they all glared at him.

Who is he to talk to the crown prince of the wolf kingdom like that? Everyone thought.

Even if the other alphas who were in charge of training the new team with Taehyung were angry at Jungkook's tone, Taehyung raised his voice before anyone could say or do anything.

"Fine, if you defeat me once before the training period ends, I will do whatever you want. So good luck with that baby."

"I'm not your baby!"

"Yeah, sure." Saying in a mocking tone, Taehyung turned back to heading towards the stadium.

By the end of the first week, Taehyung understood very well how talented Jungkook was. Even though he was still a teenager, Jungkook was born with strength and skill that could surpass a normal alpha.

After Jungkook and Taehyung's sword fight, everyone got the weekend off, so everyone, including Jungkook, prepared to go back to their packs to spend the two-day vacation.

"We're leaving, Prince Taehyung!" Jungkook's brother, Junghyun bowed to Taehyung. Jungkook, who was angry with Taehyung, didn't even glance at him. Seeing Jungkook's bottom lip jutted out and his cheeks were red and puffy, Taehyung wanted to laugh. But he put his usual expressionless gaze back on, and smiled at Junghyun.

Junghyun was a strong alpha. He was far ahead in terms of leadership qualities when compared with Jungkook. The qualities of patience, listening to others, understanding, making the right and tough decisions when necessary, being able to control anger, and being gentle and humble when necessary had shaped Junghyun as a natural leader.

Even though Jungkook is very strong and talented, he can't control his anger at all, he makes quick decisions without looking ahead, and he is not gentle even when necessary, which pulled him down from the leadership characteristics.
Regardless of those things, even Taehyung knew from experience that those qualities could be improved with training and aging.

They spent the weekend freely with their family and friends and came back to the palace for training again on Monday morning.

"The little prince of Moonshine pack is very cute, isn't it, oppa?" Jia, who came to see how the new team is training for the first time, stared at Jungkook who was exercising in the distance and whispered to Taehyung, while Taehyung turned towards her with narrowed eyes.
