"Mate!"

"Baby, your scent."

Those statements came out at the same time from Taehyung and V.

"Mate?" Looking at V's red eyes, Taehyung asked curiously, and V bent over Jungkook's neck and deeply sniffed. It was the first time he smelled Jungkook's scent.

At the same time, Jungkook's eyes started to glow purple, indicating that his wolf accepted V as his mate. But since the wolf was still weak, he gave the control back to his human in the next second. Jungkook looked at V with big round eyes, his lips quivering slightly.

"So that's why you smelled like Taehyung hyung."

"Will you tell me what's going on here?" Taehyung asked, his voice was laced with annoyance.

"M-my wolf says.. V hyung is my.. m-mate.." Taehyung was momentarily speechless as Jungkook's doe eyes began to glisten with tears.

"W-what?" Taehyung glanced at V as soon as he could speak.

"Jungkook is my mate." V confirmed it.

"And.. me?"

"You are also my mate." Jungkook quickly grabbed Taehyung's hand.

"But how i-is this even possible? How can one person have two mates?" Neither V nor Jungkook had an answer to Taehyung's question.

So Taehyung decided to ask Namjoon about it. Jungkook immediately looked at V after Taehyung took the phone and left the room. V, who was already staring at Jungkook with and endearing gaze, pressed his lips over Jungkook's lips and slowly sucked his bottom lip before releasing it.

"I'm so happy Angel." Jungkook smiled shyly as V whispered, cupping those rosy cheeks in his hands.

"I think Taehyung hyung was hurt after seeing us earlier. I didn't consider about his feelings. I know that you being my mate didn't help it.. but I completely neglected his feelings. I was so wrong." Jungkook mumbled as his heart ached as he remembered the pained look in Taehyung's eyes.

"Hyung will understand you, angel. Please, don't worry." V said in a soft voice, and Jungkook gave a nod, dropping his head on V's shoulder. V wrapped his arm around Jungkook and gently stroked his hair.

In the meantime, Taehyung, who went out, called Namjoon and told him everything.

"You mean Jungkook is your and V's mate?" When Namjoon asked for the third time in surprise, Taehyung let out a frustrated sigh.
