Chapter 5

"I'd rather dance with an omega girl than ask you." Taehyung spat before turning on his heels, Jungkook quickly threw his arm over Taehyung's shoulder.

"Okay, okay, I was just kidding." Even though Jungkook said, Taehyung walked forward without saying anything while Jungkook, who was hanging on his shoulder, pulled forward with him.

"Cocky bastard!" Jungkook mumbled. Taehyung's lips slightly twitched, but he pulled back his usual poker face.

"Be there on time. Also, don't swallow so many sweets. You and that idiotic girl are same." Seeing that it's time to start the party, Taehyung didn't look at Jungkook and pried away his arm that was wrapped around his neck before heading towards Alpha Kim.

Jungkook glared at his back and started to find Jia again, not caring about Taehyung's birthday party, which was about to start.

After Taehyung arrived, Alpha Kim started the ceremony. After welcoming the Alphas and Lunas of the packs and their children, and everyone else who attended, Taehyung prepared to cut the biggest birthday cake that had been prepared for him.

When he was ready to cut the cake, Taehyung noticed that the knife, which was beautifully decorated with a purple ribbon, was covered in icing. At the same time, seeing that one side of the cake was empty, everyone nearby became nervous. However the side that the guests could see was pretty much perfect, so Taehyung took a long breath and cut a piece of the cake without showing any difference and fed it to Alpha Kim, Grandma, and Hoseok who were nearby.

While the birthday party that started like that went on in a fun way, the last hour was reserved for the dance event.

While a slow music spread throughout the hall, Alpha from Aurora Pack came and greeted Alpha Kim and Prince Taehyung.

"Alpha Kim, this is my daughter Vianna." As he pointed to his daughter beside him, a beautiful Omega girl smiled shyly at Taehyung and greeted to them.

"Our prince can choose her to dance with.." He raised his voice again, but his speech stopped when Jungkook and Jia came running and hung on Taehyung's both arms.

"I'm not too late, right?" Taehyung sighed in relief as he rolled his eyes when Jungkook asked grinning.

Taehyung hated hanging out with random girls and Omegas. That's why he invited Jungkook to dance with him. Jia also knew about his feelings. So, seeing what was going to happen from a distance, she quickly ran there, dragging Jungkook along.

"Oppa, you go with Kookie. I'll stay with appa." When Jia signaled to Jungkook, Jungkook flashed Alpha Kim an innocent smile before dragging Taehyung to the middle of the dance floor.

"Thank you!" Jungkook's hand tangled with Taehyung's as he hummed softly.

"Anytime bro.. You saved because of me." Jungkook sassed, Smirking. Without replying, Taehyung wrapped his other arm around Jungkook's waist.
