Chapter 31

With a cruel smile, Taemin dropped the lighter onto V's body, but someone who came in a flash quickly grabbed the lighter before it touched V's body and then jumped on Taemin's body pushing him to the ground.

"Hyung!" Taemin barely heard Jungkook's voice and he saw Jungkook crouching next to V from the corner of his eyes.

Without giving Taemin a chance to react, Taehyung started punching him. Taemin tried to fight back as strong blows continued to hit his jaw and face. However, with the enraging attacker's strength, counter-attacking was not possible.

Even so, as a vampire, Taemin was not willing to surrender to Taehyung without a fight. So he struck back with all his might. But he was unable to escape and weaken his attacker, resulting in him being a bloody mess.

"How dare you touch my baby brother, you bastard??" Taehyung snarled as he punched Taemin's bloody face one last time. Taemin smirked, looking into Taehyung's darkened eyes as he finally left his body.

But that smile did not last long as Taehyung picked up the gasoline can that Taemin had thrown aside and poured the remaining gasoline on Taemin's body.

"Don't! Don't do this... I fed your brother and took care of him for yeats. I'm your mother's younger brother!!!" Looking at the lighter in Taehyung's hand, Taemin screamed. Taehyung smiled and lowered himself to Taemin.

"Because of you, my mother became mentally unstable and died at a young age.. because of you, my brother had to be alone all his childhood without his family.. because of you, my mate became sick.. because of you, people in my pack had to die.. because of you, innocent humans had to be locked in cages and undergo laboratory tests. NOW PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID ASSHOLE !!!" Taehyung growled and lit the lighter in his hand before throwing it on Taemin's body.

"AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" Taemin tried to escape, unable to bear excruciating pain of being burned alive even though he couldn't move even a finger. However his struggles made the fire even more intense and Taehyung stared at Taemin who was burning alive with an emotionless gaze.

After confirming Taemin's death, Taehyung went to find his mate and brother.

Jungkook, who had brought V to a nearby bathroom was washing his body with clean water. Hearing Taehyung's footsteps, he turned and looked at Taehyung.

"Everything is fine." Taehyung placed a chaste kiss on Jungkook's forehead and looked at V.

"How are you feeling now?"
