Chapter 21

"Hold me tightly and don't be afraid, okay? I won't let you get in any trouble. I promise." V said looking into Jungkook's eyes and kissed his hand gently. Jungkook's cheeks turned slightly pink at V's action and he gave a nod.

"Give me your hand then." Jungkook put his hand on top of V when he said holding out his hand.

Grabbing Jungkook's small hand compared to him gently but firmly, V closed his eyes, looking into Jungkook's sparkling eyes. In the next moment, Jungkook's eyes also closed with a feeling of moving fast.

"Here we are." As the strange feeling stopped in the next second, Jungkook heard V's voice close to his ear.

Jungkook kept his hand on his rapidly beating chest, slowly opening his eyes. Those eyes sparkled with happiness when they saw the green color around them. They are in a forest! V had brought him to an environment that Jungkook loved the most.

"Thank you!" Jungkook darted his eyes towards V again and whispered. V smiled, squeezing Jungkook's hand.

"If you're happy, that's all I want."

Jungkook smiled and sniffed a bit.

"It's about to rain." Jungkook said looking at the beautiful blue sky, V looked at Jungkook suspiciously, but his eyes widened when he realized that Jungkook's wolf was getting stronger again.

But before V could say anything, Jungkook ran forward with his arms outstretched, smiling as the cool breeze embrace his body.

"Be careful!" V warned but Jungkook tripped at the same time and fell to the ground, groaning in pain. In an instant, V appeared near him and took the scratched and bleeding leg in his hand. The flawless, milky skin was slightly bruised, but the speed of the wound healing was similar to that of a human, and Jungkook's eyes brimmed with tears for the first time because of a small wound. Seeing the teary eyed boy, V's heart clenched. So he bent over and pressed his lips over Jungkook's wound before gently licking it, and surprisingly, Jungkook's wound was completely healed. Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise and V knew it was the time to ask Jungkook about his past.

"Jungkook.. you know.. we're different from humans." When V said, Jungkook looked at V curiously.

"We're different from the people in the dramas of the movies you've seen lately. That's why you got well so fast today.. you.. you're a werewolf."

"Huh?" While Jungkook looked at V curiously, V took Jungkook's hand and walked over to sit on a rock on the bank of a nearby tributary and sat on Jungkook's other side. 

"You can turn into a wolf. Do you remember that animal show you used to watch? You can also become a wolf like that." When V explained, Jungkook stared at him in surprise.

"And y-you?"

"I'm a vampire. We watched a vampire movie last week.. remember?"

"But you don't drink blood." Jungkook pouted.
