After Taehyung's birthday, time went back to normal.

"Hyung.." By then Jungkook was used to calling Taehyung by that name.

"Five minutes late." Looking at the watch on his wrist, Taehyung uttered. Jungkook came and stood next to him.

"I'm late today.. because I wanted?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow and looked at Jungkook as Jungkook mumbled softly.

"I also want to go to the mountain with hyung."

"To the mountain?"

"It's just.. running to the forest every day is very boring, so I wanted to go to a different place. Besides, you always go to the mountain."

"But it might make others think I'm giving special treatments just for you."

"Aren't you?" Taehyung tensed when Jungkook asked mischievously.

"What do you mean?"

"Do you give everyone banana milk for breakfast? Did you teach them to shoot? Do you talk like this with others? No, right?" Taehyung sighed in relief as Jungkook gave a list, folding his fingers one by one. For a moment, Taehyung was worried that Jungkook had found out about the mate bond because of his behavior that day on his birthday.

"That's because you're Jia's friend."

"Anyway, you treat me special. That's thd point."

"Mhm, let's go then."

Taehyung ordered before taking off his clothes to shift and Jungkook quickly turned the other way.

"We'll run to the mountain and stay there for a while, so put the clothes in a bag if you want." When Taehyung turned back to say that, he saw Jungkook facing the other way. Due to his wolf hearing, Taehyung sensed Jungkook's heart was beating fast, making his lips twitch.

"Huh, okay." Jungkook answered without looking at Taehyung and went to a closed area and took off his clothes and put them in a bag and shifted.

Even he couldn't understand why he behaved like that in front of Taehyung. Because Jungkook has seen many people shift in front of him. There were even times when he changed into his wolf form in front of others. So Jungkook was worried about the reason for the odd uncomfortableness he felt only in front of Taehyung.

When Jungkook came back with the bag of clothes hanging from his mouth, Taehyung, who had already shifted, glanced at him before moving forward.

Taehyung was afraid to give full control to his wolf because he knew that Jungkook was his mate. That's why Taehyung took his eyes off Jungkook's wolf and started walking to the top of the mountain without thinking about it.

Taehyung's wolf, much larger than an average wolf, glowed in a shiny black color. The sharp red eyes were powerful enough to tame anyone with just one look. Jungkook felt his wolf whimpering happily when he saw Taehyung's wolf. But he just thought it was because Taehyung was a true blood alpha and followed the big black wolf without thinking about it.
