Knight explained to her in more detail how his day had been and why he avoided the dragon. At first he had only told her that he kissed Pitaya, so it was better to give her the whole context at once.

Knight said mentally slapping himself, Princess looked around as if she was looking for something on her bed.

Knight asked but as soon as he finished speaking he felt a blow to his face, Princess hit him with a pillow.

He said slightly confused, it didn't hurt but it was still a blow.

The princess said firmly, leaving her pillow aside.

Knight said feeling like a scolded puppy.

They both talked a little about Princess's day before the pink-haired girl got sleepy and said goodnight to Knight, although she proposed a sleepover to the guard he refused since he wanted to think a little about his day.

Upon arriving at his room, Knight was greeted by his pet as always, although he was a little tired.
-What are you tired of? You're just lying down all day-
Knight said when he saw it, Dragon's Tail approached and lay down on his feet.
-Being cute must be tiring-
He took his pet and put it on his bed while he changed his armor. When he finished, he lay down next to his pet and it settled on top of him.
After what had happened in the forest it seemed impossible for him to sleep because of everything he had to think about it, but luckily the exhaustion of running from the castle to the forest was too much and he fell asleep after a while.

Pitaya arrived at the dragon valley and began to break stones with their sword. The bigger they were, the more time it took and therefore the more energy they spent; Normally they only did that when they was upset and needed to take it out on something but this time it was out of excitement, they had too much energy for how tired their body was but they needed to spend it on something or they wouldn't be able to sleep.
They had wanted to kiss Knight for weeks but they never thought that the guard would take the initiative for the kiss, leaving aside the fact that he ignored them all day, being able to get closer to the blonde like that made them quite excited and filled them with energy.
